Big win tonight against a team that beat Arkansas by about 30 at Arkansas. We battled tonight and played sound basketball. I liked that we took the ball to the basket instead of settling for 3. And free throw shooting was awesome. It won the game.
I think Epps will be the better option against more athletic teams at the 5. Reath really needs to figure out how to pass quicker from a double team. There were open guys cutting that he was just too slow to recognize.

LSU is the 167th best team in the country, per Real Time RPI. That's really low for a 6-2 team. I think the Tigers' French pastry schedule may have something to do with this.

Reath came off the bench again tonight and never found his groove. Then he picked up his 3rd foul early and went back to the bench. Just never got going and Epps was picking up the slack.

Epps was great all game. Mays carried LSU for the first part of the second half when no one else was making plays. Waters made the big play at the end. But Darrell Edwards deserves some recognition as well. He was terrific on defense tonight.
