because that team was already talented enough to win right away.

2015 team went into November undefeated and ranked #2 in the country.
and loss because of Miles’ offensive ineptitude.
Les got shite canned for choking with a roster that should have been in the Playoffs (and opening up with same shite tastic offense the following season).

Les failed that team miserably.

Nuss cant run, interior oline sucks. Receivers suck. Offensive coaches who don’t know how to deal with those facts

Excellent post. Someone pays attention to more than just the product on the field, and asks “Why?”.
Not a skill the average ranter possesses.

Planes, trains and automobiles.

People don’t realize when you lose nearly 50 scholarship players in a single offseason, it takes a lot of time and recruiting to build a team back up.
3 years is enough time bro
Colorado was 1-11 2 years ago and the whole team left when prome came in

Chicken would be pissed if most fans took this level of logic and approach to this team. The traffic on here would be cut in half.

You hired Brian Kelly / end thread

The only ones we've had under Kelly were Campbell & Jones. Prior to that it was Boutte in 2020.
I would say Harold and Mason Taylor as well. They played a lot and played well as true Fr.

True. True. Perkins wrecked Ole Miss & Arkansas that year. Taylor was very productive & caught the 2 pointer to beat Bama.

How far back do you want to go? Let's start after the '19 championship game. We were and Ed was on top of the world. So let's start there.
O went stoopid. Scott had to make a big splash hire. BK inherited a depleted roster and made it worse with a weak recruiting staff. BK failed on D last year. BK is incapable of leveraging big wins (3/4 losses following Bama in '22 and now 3/4 following OM). So in summary: contract mismanagement, roster mismanagement, schedule mismanagement.

$150mm and the best NIL money in the game doesn’t buy you what you expect. The happiest students in the country (every year) are about an hour east in NOLA.

If you get RREALLY damn lucky, or…

… you bring two absolute superstars into the situation with you and build around them.
Plus, I’d like to know how many players Colorado had on scholarship after Prime came into town. I’d bet it’s WAY more than 37 out of an 85 man roster.
We got lucky having Jayden Daniels and a great o-line stay. That’s why we had an SECCG appearance.
Once the upper classmen leftover from Ed Orgeron left LSU for the draft / graduation, our talent level REALLY felt the effects of the attrition, and you can see that on the field now.

you are correct, I misread the post I relied to as "O having pressure to win immediately", and not pressure after O.
My apologies.

The team is SOFT. In every aspect.
I don't know if that is directly Kelly's fault, but it is up to him to make the necessary changes.
I really thought that everyone was piling on Kelly way to fast, but after the last 3 weeks, he seems to be floundering, and I'm losing hope.
