They beat one good team really bad and think they own the LSU 2019 tigers. We beat SEVERAL REALLY good teams really bad and no team has ever come close including the 2020 elephants.

Yep, I had no dog in this hunt and was leaning toward Indiana because of my general disdain for Miami, but the nonsense about comparing it to the 2019 LSU team has pushed me the other way.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Imagine being triggered by people hypothetically comparing two great teams that can never play each other. So what if they are mentioned together? The fact that every champion is now compared to 2019 LSU establishes where that team really ranks in people’s minds.

I’m definitely pulling for Miami because they’re the underdogs, as odd as that is to say. I’m not concerned about 2025 IU vs 2019 LSU debate, because their facts indicate 2019 LSU is clearly head and shoulders above them. I am just tired of the whole IU cignetti/mendoza media love affair. Just want to see that balloon popped in glorious fashion!

Ive been impressed by the tenacity of miami. It would be an unreal fairy tale story to have won it all despite everything. Only one game would they have not been underdogs through this playoff run. Anyways, i reallt enjoyed the miami ole miss game, i like this team theyve got.

Hard to say. I do like pulling for a school that hasn't won much in the past, but their comparisons to 2019 LSU are starting to get annoying. So I'll be OK with either team winning.

This right here, pulling for Shannon and therefore Miami!

Don't really care, but I do like Miami's green and orange, and I think Miami is more like LSU than we may want to admit. I think IU is the better coached team; however, they've not faced anyone like Bain and Mesidor. And Miami's OL is massive and well coached. We'll see how IU's gap schemes work against them. If Miami can run the ball and get the ball into Toney's hands a lot, they can win. Plus they're at home, which gives them an edge.

I don’t care about the debate. We know the truth.

Miami winning is worse for recruiting than if Indiana wins.

Also don’t care about the Sec rules the world argument

Well, the best team is clearly Indiana. If you want #10 ranked team to win natty so be it.

Michael Irvin is an idiot and I’m so glad he and Sapp are gone from the nfl network. Hopefully they will not be shown on tv

Lets compare 2019 LSU wins over top 10 teams with 2025 Indiana wins over top 10 teams. LSU wins this comparison hands down.

Indiana cannot be beat, IMO.....thery execute really good and make very few mistakes...

Hope it will be close, but I think the Hoosiers will pull away as they have in most games....

The best defenses that IU played this season were probably Ohio State and Iowa. Both games were low scoring, and IU had to eek them out at the end.

If Miami minimizes the mistakes they made against Ole Miss, their defense is elite enough to have a good chance of beating the Hoosiers.
