He looks like a corpse in the recent photos from his daughter's wedding, just really unhealthy. That look might partially be explained by his insistence on coloring his hair, which just looks bizarre. Regardless, I hope the guy is ok
You can find out what is going on amongst coaches. Ive posted about it here but ill get dv'd to hell. Kansas was most certainly not filled in

Les deserves better than he gets from LSU fans,
I disagree, he got plenty of love from the fans during his hay day all while being disingenuous to the fan base on promises of changing the offense and having relations with students.

Wow. I just looked this up. He does not look well. Most photos with family awkwardly crouched around him in a chair.
Terrible for him.

I haven’t changed my mind because he remains my all time favorite football coach at any level.
For the naysayers, over 11 full seasons he averaged over 10 wins per season, had 11 or more wins in 5 of 11 seasons, won a Natty and made the finals in another.
Give me a list of coaches who matched that record during that era. I’ll wait…

Les Miles looks incredible compared to Deboer as far as following up Nick Saban goes. Not an easy job to follow up as we can see now.
The 2004 team got lucky to beat Oregon St. and home, lost to Auburn, and was destroyed by Georgia. They also trailed Troy in the 4th and had to eek out a win. The point is Saban wasn't necessarily a demi-god at LSU. He improved the program in 2000. Had a really good 2001. Struggled big time in the back half of 2002, and had a good, but not great 2004 team. The point is, replacing Saban at LSU was not the same as replacing Saban at Alabama.
Les struggled in 2008, but consistently had LSU as a top tier SEC team from 2005-2012 (absent 2008). STRICTLY at LSU, I'd argue Les was better than Saban.
Deboer walked into a nearly impossible situation. The expectations are to be the dominant team in college football in a landscape that is making it harder to have such a team.

so he is better than saban? CUM? belichek? Shula? Landry? Knoll? Bear bryant? woody hayes?
no he is not...so why is he your favorite?

he underachieved greatly. he had 7 teams with natty talent and he blew it on all but one.....05, 06, 07, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2016. You think he used all that correctly? You think he was a good tactician and X and o guy??

the 2004 team shoulda won 11 games in an 11 game regular season.
we were robbed on the plains and a fluke play beat us in the cap one bowl

It’s pretty much known that Les is having some issues. No one will go on record or talk specifics but enough media ppl have hinted at it. It’s why you never see Les anymore.

showed him the other day at smackers marriage.
so the MSM is supposed to keep putting him on ESPN and talk shows non stop? why exactly?
Les is 71 years old and enjoying his retirement in his mansion in naples, florida.

And LSU would've had several more NC’s

Of course Les Miles belongs in the hall of fame. Took over for Saban and maintained the programs elite status for 10 years. Miles is a college football icon. Anyone who says otherwise is either just a bonafide hater. Or certifiably retarted. The college football hall of fame was built for Les Miles. Some of y'all are ridiculous.

I don’t recall saying he was a better coach than all of those guys. He was my favorite because he was a winner and I loved his personality, his attitude, and his antics. I’d say Saban is the greatest college coach ever, but he wasn’t very likable. Pretty much the same reason Dale Brown was my favorite coach in any sport at any level.

Didn’t say he was perfect. Like I said, give me your list of coaches with a better record during that era.
