I guess my point is for the school to increase what the NIL deals are paying to further incentivize play on the field and recruits.

When it boils down to it both are making moves that are largely motivated by money. You can't criticize a player for possibly taking an opportunity to make money while giving the coach a pass. The factors such as history and what is going on behind the scenes are not comparable but both are leaving a place before their commitment had ended.
I am not criticizing Kelly or Ricks it's the nature of the business of sports and business in general and both should be free to do it.

Not many kids are built like that anymore. When he makes his transfer announcement his former teammates are gonna be all “go eat bro” “congrats my dawg” “Proud of you Killa” etc etc. loyalty means very little nowadays
