He motivates me to make a sandwich or take a piss when the offense takes the field.

He’s not embarrassing in the clown sort of way. He’s embarrassing in the arrogant mf that people love watching lose sort of way.

Except in what was maybe the biggest game of his career, lol.

I was thinking of Brandon Harris but this is actually very similar to that JJ situation but even worse given that Nuss is hurt.

He hasn't adjusted.

Did he not hire the right guy to fix the defense? It sucks the offense has taken a step back but if it doesn’t improve do you really think he’ll hesitate to fire Sloan? I think he’s toast and if so does Kelly not get credit for that?

If he was a good HC he would already know we were in trouble on offense before before the season.

We are losing 4 more games. You don’t just magically find a running game with this OC.

big deal... still not associate...and my statement stands in the grand scheme of it you're no body in the eyes of LSU football.

if you tell someone you graduated from LSU not for one minute will they associate you with the football program

You know, there are always signs when a guy isn’t the right fit. We all defended the fake accent at the basketball game when it happened. Came across as disingenuous.

Fast forward to now and there are more things he says that seem disingenuous. I hope he proves us all wrong but his track record here says the ole miss loss won’t be close to being the last one.

The whole time I was watching that game I couldn't help but wonder what Kiffin was thinking about how badly of a game Kelly/Sloan called. He had to be thinking it was like taking candy from a baby. Its happened multiple times the past 2 years but this was the worst that he's been outcoached in his tenure, and its unacceptable for $10mil...period. He is not a good coach.

At this point we need to see him go all in and have some balls to pull Nuss out. We went and got an SEC qb to be our backup for a reason. We can all appreciate the loyalty to the 5th year QB and not wanting to ruin his draft stock but the last I checked you don’t win ships by being the developmental program to the pros. Is MVB really gonna lead us to a championship? Probably not, but we just need an average QB rn who can extend plays, scramble, and give our Elite Defense some more rest. Give me the Flying Dutchman or give me death

You think he’s laughed at more than coach O was?

Miles and O were both media darlings, until the game passed them by. There was a bit of a freak show element in the media's coverage of both coaches, what with the funny hat, grass eating, and goofy accents, but the media loved Miles and O at LSU.

Kelly? He isn't likable or funny enough to gloss over his deficiencies like Miles and O were. He's an a-hole, yet he isn't successful enough to play the Saban "I'm an a-hole, but any school would kill to have me" card.

And then, more perplexingly than anything else, he lacks the self-awareness and self-control to just stfu. Coach speak exists for a reason. Answer the media's questions without saying too much of anything, because you don't want to tip your hand, throw your players under the bus, give an opponent bulletin board material, set yourself up to eat crow, etc., etc. Kelly does all that shite. Punching tables, Fam Ugh Lee, Tik Toks with decommits, "Judge me on year 3," "See y'all in the natty," etc., etc.

His ego is too big to just shut up and coach, and he's so arrogant that he thinks he's the smartest guy in the room, even after rushing for 50-something yds against the worst rush D in the conference.

tldr: despite Miles and O's cartoonish personas, Kelly is a laughing stock on an entirely different level. And that's before talking hardware.

Well said. As much as fans want to support the team Brian Kelly is a clown that should be acknowledging his failures. He hasn’t acknowledged any coaching issues or time management issues. He blames his players. It is clear as day that he is only here for the massive paychecks. He belongs up north. We are stuck with this loser so get used to disappointment.

Woodward hired him

THANK YOU!!!!

You said the quiet part out loud. CBK just didn't pitch his tent in TS and say "hire me", nor did Woodward operate in a fricking vacuum and hire him without BOS/TAF approval. There are lines of accountability all the way up the CoC starting with CBK (poor hires), Woodward (poor management, etc), BOS (alas...politics), and TAF ($$$). Whoever had a hand in CBK coming to BR should be held accountable. Pink slips, BOS removal, program bans.

Buuut, until someone has the balls (right Scone?) to hold people accountable and be actionable, all you people (what do you mean "you people"?) need to sit back and STFU.
