It’s a joke that makes teenagers/high school kids laugh. Not surprised this place has a ton of support for STTDB.
It’s a shame bc it was awesome when the band played it. But kids...I get it. I did some stupid dumb shite too when I was young. I thought it was cool until I grew up.

Despite what I say on here, I generally don't use profane language in front of my kids.
With that said, they've been to games when neck was played and had no idea what the SS was saying....they just focused on the hand motions and thought it was cool and played along. Eventually, they'll figure it out but for now...not really that concerned about it.
My rule of thumb is simple....if there are little kids around me, I'll refrain from joining in.....if not I've been known to sing along.

Neck is awesome and really fires up the home crowd and in turn the team. Why not just change the chant at the end to something just a tad less vulgar so they still play it.
I mean, that dumb Rammer Jammer Alabama says “we just kicked the shite out of you”. Not nearly as vulgar but still gets the point across.

Little kids and curse words 101: A few years ago, my Navy son somehow gets dream duty in Hawaii. Transferred from Guam with his wife and my 21 month old grandson. My first grandchild.... So, we go to Hawaii and spend a couple weeks with them. Wife and I take grandchild to the Arizona Memorial, etc thing. Outside of the gift shop there is an old veteran taking donations to build some new memorial thing. Cool old dude. So, you donate a buck and get to choose between three commemorative items to take home. One is a rubber cancer-like bracelet, one is a commemorative spoon, the last a pic of the submerged Arizona.
Wife needs to go potty, so she leaves me with grandson outside of the gift shop. I slip the old dude a couple 20's and he asks my grandson which prize he wants. He inspects all three closely, then thinks a second.... Then replies: "UCK".
I respond, "I think he wants the spoon"... Then sulk off.
Moral: Navy dudes and LSU fans curse a lot. Take us as you find us.

Completely agree - anyone chanting it is trash and probably a pathetic virgin. Fully support expelling any student doing it. Have some standards.
