I don’t want my 12, 10 and 7 year old kids hearing that. If you’re not honest with yourself enough to admit that it’s old/tired and vulgar, than you should at least be honest with yourself enough to admit your an a..hole for not carrying about offending people who pay money to go to the games and did nothing to deserve to be offended in that way...
Geaux tigers!!!

Not all children are raised to think that it is ok to listen to filth. They have more class than that and are more mature than you Moron.

Maybe if you would grow up, then I wouldn't have to worry about the language of immature idiots. Maybe you need to Not go to the games!

You are an IDIOT!

There is a difference between isolated assholes yelling obscenities at the game/tailgate and having what's arguably "organized" foul language by a large group to go over the airways and the entire stadium as if "THIS IS LSU".
There is something called respect that needs to be balanced w "right of speech".
I will say F --- with the best of them, but I will not say it when/where it will cast a negative light.
Next time you get a job interview, make sure you include this chant in your resume.

You will never convince the students they’re immature and embarrassing.

Good for you.
However, there are a substantial number of others (including the STUDENTS who attend LSU) who do not share your sentiment.
Therefore, you have the option of not taking your kids to the games and can watch them on TV at home.

quote:You're offended by the SONG "Neck" or the STTDB that is chanted with it?
I’m offended by neck. I don’t want my 12, 10 and 7 year old kids hearing that.
Just be more definitive/accurate with your wording and say that you're offended by the LSU "SPOILED BRATS" spewing out STTDB because they can.

I agree with the guy. College football is supposed to bring out the best values in people and kids... not the worst and most crude.
The Neck chant is disgusting. Makes our fan base look like crass idiots.
Very happy my daughter has graduated and moved on.
IMO we do not need to adopt the misogynistic degrading culture of rap and Hollywood and let it poison college football.
Whatever downvote away.

Imagine being in a country that has freedom and bitching about fans at a sporting event where there's tremendous amounts of alcohol being consumed prior to the event being kicked off.
I call you an interior melter.

You do not have the right to not be offended. FACT.
The question is that knowing this, how does a mature adult deal with things that offend them ? Are you able to encounter things that violate your view of the world without unraveling and demanding redress? Are you emotionally intelligent enough to understand that you do not rule the world? Can you still thrive when surrounded by others who use their speech in a way that annoys you?
If the answer is no, you should stay home more.

Thank you. That difference is key, and it's troubling that so many people don't realize this now.
