What is so irrational about being happy for winning 10 games, winning a NY6 bowl for the first time in years, having a great recruiting class and a load of talent on both sides of the ball returning for w019?

I think you are being a bit dramatic...I haven't heard anyone say that they wanted a statue of O and I wouldn't say that anyone is really exuberant.
We simply enjoyed watching a season of fairly solid football played by a team that we all love. We also have locked in some very talented players in this signing class, so we will likely have some good years coming in the future.
I am not sure why any of that would make you unhappy...
