(except for Big Red.)
Yeah, Red would start the “Tiger bait” chant. He was in the north/northeast corner, I sat in the southwest corner and I could hear that continuous “Tiger bait!!, Tiger bait!! Tiger bait!,clear as day, continuously, sometimes for 5 minutes at a time.

No which is why the tradition of cussing Ole Miss even when we aren’t playing them has faded away. I still hear and say GTHOM when we are playing them.

I said it in our morning meeting Thursday at work.

Are you serious? Alabama fans chant, after every win, “we just beat the hell out of you”…they’ve been doing it since the early to mid 90s. Had they eeeked out a 2 point win over nightly Vandy Saturday, they would have done it then.
This is absolutely not what we are talking about. We are talking about fanbases who have specific cheers about other specific teams and cheer them every when they aren’t playing them.
What’s your IQ?

Here’s the lyrics to Alabama’s fight song, which I reckon they sing at every game….
quote:
Yea, Alabama! Drown ’em Tide! Every ‘Bama man’s behind you, Hit your stride.
Go teach the Bulldogs to behave, Send the Yellow Jackets to a watery grave.
And if a man starts to weaken, That’s a shame! For Bama’s pluck and grit have Writ her name in Crimson flame. Fight on, fight on, fight on men! Remember the Rose Bowl, we’ll win then. So roll on to victory, Hit your stride, You’re Dixie’s football pride, Crimson Tide, Roll Tide, Roll Tide!!

We used to chant "Go to Hell. Ole Miss! Go to hell!" every time we entered the stadium after playing the Pre-Game salute outside when I was in Tiger Band in the 80s. Didn't matter who the hell our opponent was for the game that night, the chant was always the same. It was usually started by Jerry Brumfield (one of the trumpet players) and pretty soon it had spread through the band and the northwest section of the stadium under the stands as we came in.

My brother was an arse. When he was in Med School he would act like he was the one the medical exchange needed.
Many years later he's still an arse.

I was a freshman during Jerry's senior year. Six-foot tall skinny kid that played trumpet and marched spot 10-C on the charts in 1986. (Next to Jeff Sparkman)
From Ashland, Kentucky originally and hated the Kentucky Wildcats with all my heart.
Hung out at The Library (or sometimes The Bayou) every Tuesday before band practice with Jerry, Toomaas, Ty, Fletch, sometimes Heath, and occasionally a snare drummer named Marty would join us.
Last name Tullis
Those were some great days with Dr Wickes, Linda, and Bill Monday running the show, huh?

Ole Miss Hate Week used to be a huge deal.
They aren't worth hating like they were 20-25 years ago.

Name one superior program that does this to a program that is historically inferior to it?
