Next court date is Dec. 18.

The victim, a Black woman, said she wants justice & that Trey shot her.

But his Lawyer, Mike Smalls, is amazing in court. Smalls got a good friend of mine out of a murder charge in 1988 when he was 15. My friend shot his step mom dead & shot his Dad in the neck w/ a .45 while they sleep. Mike Smalls got my bud off w/ a sleep walking defense. Acquitted of murder & of attempt w/ a sleep walking defense! Smalls is a miracle worker guys. He may get Trey to see some action.

If he “gets off” like that, but still did something nefarious, I think it’d be best for both him and LSU to part ways. For what Brian Kelly is trying to build, the action is more important than the final resolution in court. LSU recruited and signed him, so they should support him as best they can until it’s resolved. But even if he gets no jail time and is ready to play next year, he’ll be a 3rd-year redshirt sophomore. We’ll have Jackson as a 3rd year Jr., Durham as 2nd year So., and Berry and the kid from Alexandria all coming in as highly ranked freshmen. All probably better than Holly and not coming off a fully missed season. Not sure there’s many carries at LSU in Holly’s future anyway.

May be best for him to transfer closer to home at Tech, ULM, or Grambling. Or just get completely out of the state and away from everything altogether. I’m wishing the best for him and hope he hasn’t thrown his life away. But at this point, even if the charges against him are ultimately dismissed, it may be in his best interest to find a place and get a fresh start.

He’ll no he was sleep walking! His Mom wouldn’t bring him his PE clothes to school and he got in trouble or something. It was BS. My friend also named Mike was 15 and thought he was 21. He was already into alcohol and pot by 8th grade and hanging out with adults actually. Smalls gets him off and a month later my friend committed a string of house burglaries in Monroe. Some how he gets just probation on that. But that was his last problem with the law. He moved to Tennessee and I just reconnected with him on Facebook. Said he’s doing good and no problems. I didn’t bring up the murder.

Yes he was at the time. Just young and reckless. Drinking already and into drugs hanging with people out of high school. Supposedly he’s doing good today. Just reconnected with him on FB.

I have been thousands of times and the first, first thing you do is DISCOVER the state's case.

Put request for bodycam footage in your first motion and demand a written response.

No I wasn’t bragging about my friend but bragging how his attorney Mike Smalls which is Trey Hollys lawyer got him off. With a sleep walking defense! My friend shot the gun several times. How the hell was he still asleep??? It was insane how Smalls pulled that off.

Oh. Well that bitch had it coming...

Somehow I HIGHLY doubt that. But maybe Mike is one of the few that saw the error in his ways and straightened his life out.

hanging out with adults

This is the real issue. Young kids think POS adults are cool and POS adults turn kids into more POS adults.

Now on to the lawyer. I am no attorney but my view point is that a defense attorney should make sure their clients aren't prosecuted of crimes they didn't commit and to make sure the state doesn't violate the rights of their client and that the charges match the crime in the case that they DID commit the crime. The defense attorney's job should not be to get people off on crimes they clearly committed. Especially violent crimes. That "amazing" attorney allowed a criminal to go on a crime spree and it was most likely just luck that no one else was harmed or murdered.

Or more likely they just learned to cover their tracks better. Probably some shallow graves or well fed gators out there with their other victims.
