Playing him ANY on offense just gives him more of an opportunity to get hurt. He already has a cramping problem, no need to stress it further.

This is the lamest argument in football.

If he can't play QB, there's really no need for this.

I'd be more than happy for him to give up playing DB, if it meant he was going to play QB full time. Why not try him at QB? Surely he can do just as well as JJ and JL are doing.

Patrick Peterson is easily the best athlete in the country.

So the best athlete in the country shouldn't be allowed to play offense?

Your hatred for Miles is leading you to make ridiculous arguments.

But putting him on offense would wear him down for the two facets of his game that are so important to this team!

I know we dont get many plays on offense, but 3-5 plays over the course of a game will not wear him out.

This is idiotic logic. Why play him on special teams then?

Hell, why play him so much on defense, it just ups his opportunity to get hurt.

How is the possibility to get hurt idiotic logic? How do you even know that he would be effective on offense? Why not just let him do what we KNOW he is good at? And btw, on Special Teams he has the ability to fair catch if he knows he is about to get lit up, on offense you just get lit up.

Obviously, when PP isn't on the field we should put PP in a bubble (like the Pope), in a sanctuary where we can venerate him. He's far too valuable to let him play except on plays where we can guarantee his supreme awesomeness will result in a sure punt return for TD or pick six. After PP struck a Heisman pose, Miles was wrong to chew him out. Instead, he should have venerated PP and shown him the proper respect due the best athlete in college football. I mean, what if Miles had hurt PP's feelings?

I don't think 1 or 2 plays a game will "take him away" from any of his other responsibilities. Especially when some of those plays he will simply be a decoy.

RR and RS should be running the wildcat. We are not lacking playmakers on offense. We are just lacking the ability to get the ball in their hands.

Y'all will be singing a much different tune when he breaks a 50 yard TD from the wildcat.

Yep, not only that but he hits like a mac truck. There are soo many ways he could be used on O that 2 or 3 plays a half would not hurt at all.

I agree. We are already loaded with talent on offense. Unless he can play quarterback...I say leave him where he is.

Exactly. It gives opposing coaches something new to worry about. And I'm sure it's no accident Miles announced it today to give Derek Dooley something new to worry about. Getting some competition from PP gives our five star WRs something to think about the next time they drop another pass or let one sail through their hands for an INT. It's idiotic to think that changing QBs is the only personnel change we can make to create some more offensive opportunities.

But the critical point about PP is that HE ASKED Miles if he could play offense. He asked MORE THAN ONCE. Miles listened to PP and now he's a jackass for doing so. There's no end to the creative arguments people will use to justify their hatred of Miles.

only reason they are even considering it is for the Heisman stuff, they know it will increasse his chances a lot in actually winning or getting invited to NYC.

They even said after the WVU game that theyve had this Heisman campaign ready for a while, just waiting for the right time to roll it out. Hence him being on gameday today via telephone, guarantee LSU was a big part of that.

PP on offense is fricking retarded. He has serious cramping issues as it is. We have Shep, Tolliver, Randall, and Ridley on offense. Who's he going to replace? Seriously, how would PP on the field on offense really help?

Uhhh, you can leave JL out of this. He hasn't played yet. Don't you watch the games?

Its got nothing to do with the offense IMO, all about his Heisman. Honestly when was the last time LSU had a legitimate Heisman canidate? Huge for the program and huge for PP should he make the final 4-5 and get the invite.

Could he break a run on offense? Yes, but Shep could probably bust the same run most of the time if its theres room to run and gets a block. If hes in the game it also completely throws off the other team (i.e. Florida if it actually happens), but id say the whole Heisman pub is a big factor...

I'm not sure people are calling for him to be out there the entire game. I see nothing wrong with giving him a few opportunities to provide a MUCH-NEEDED spark on offense.....

This is just parroted information, and lacks any substance. 4-6 plays a game would not hurt anything.

Why don't stupid fans ever ask for really good offensive players to go play defense too? I mean, other than the fact that they are stupid fans.
