Both have the ability to be top 5 QBs. Burrow prior to injury was in just about everyones top 5.

One of the reasons I like watching him play so much is because he always looks like he's having the time of his life. I remember on a play last year where he dropped back to pass and ended up running through the middle for a lot of yardage. When they did a slow mow replay you see him checking down then when he sees the hole opening he breaks into a wide af grin right before he takes off running. Even after taking big hits he's jumping up grinning like a kid on a trampoline or something.

If you were looking forward to Burrow in 2019, how could you not be looking forward to Daniels in 2023 since Burrow's 2018 numbers were not nearly as good as Daniels' 2022 numbers?

I've resigned my position as QB scout.
I was one of the original doubters that Daniels could ever play QB in the NFL.
He has to be one of the most impressive Rookies I have seen in about sixty-two years of watching NFL.
He makes it look so easy.
I think Gayle Sayers was the most impressive rookie running back.

Daniels is a different kind of QB than Burriw. Burrow can lead the Bengals to a Super Bowl, in fact I will be surprised if he never wins one. Daniels can do the same for Washington. Right now I do think a huge thing in Daniels favor is his offensive Coordinator could not be more of a perfect fit for him. Daniels is doing things his 4 games in the NFL that you don’t just compare to other rookies……….compare some of this stuff to any other qb ever.
