Allowed them to be out of shape, undisciplined, and let them quit. He lets guys like LF 7 and Guice decide if they will play or not. All signs he's not the guy. Also, if this didn't look exactly like his last Hc job then it might not be so bad

I agree with most of what you said, except I was a big Les Miles fan. Some people on this website will complain about anything no matter what the situation. If we would have hired Herman, the first time he lost they would be calling for his head. The bottom line is I'm not happy we're losing, but we are also not at full speed. We have a ton of injuries, lots of youth and we are going through some growing pains. How many programs can replace 5 players on defense in one year that are now starting in the NFL? Nobody! Time will tell if Coach O, Aranda and Canada were good hires, but let's give them enough time to implement and fully develop their schemes!

So you believe that O will
Win in the Living room? Right now I don't know if he even wins 2 sec games. And I don't see how players and their parents are gonna want to sign at Lsu if the wheels come
Off. I hope somehow it's Not as bad as seems but I'm losing hope fast

I hear ya, but the fan base is out of control- they really think O is going to be fired this year!
But O can't stop a fumble, missed FG, etc. Aranda is the same DC as last year, but this year he lost his studs & has been forced to play freshman. Then we have at least 3 D-lineman injured and our best def. player, Arden Key, at this point looks like 60-70% of what he was last year. So my point is, the talent level is not the same as last year, but we were coached by O & Aranda last year too. Now I admit that Canada hasn't exactly overwhelmed either, but our line is only a shell of what a SEC O-line should be.
It's going to be a long season, in fact, we will probably be an underdog in every game this year and who knows, we could lose them all. But at the same time, you just have to eat a bowl of crow and hope we come back next year, which I believe we will. This is not a Curley Hallman flashback; anyone who really looked at our team before the season knew we were rebuilding. This started with Les Miles- we were progressively getting worse over the last 5 years and now his inability to seriously recruit the lines has put us in this situation. This isn't no 'blame George Bush' bullshite, but rather fact!

No...this HAS TO STOP.

First...no one, from Alleva, to O to anyone else was selling a rebuild, at any point. First talk of rebuild was as the play started to suck and the historic losses followed. No one said anything about rebuilds as we pasted what turned out to be a shitty BYU team.

Second...if you truly believed that's the situation LSU was facing, how does that make hiring O a better decision? What on his resume, in any way, suggests he could possibly rebuild a Power 5 conference monster that lives in the SECW?

Either this is simple revisionism, or we were lied to by the LSU brass and the hire looks even shadier.

At what point does bad football become his fault? Seems like you can always use that excuse.

This team well coached and with the injuries would finish 9-3.

This team will finish 3-9 4-8

WTF team are you watching? One that doesn't play hard or physical. Quit on each other. Completely lost.
You sir are not an LSU fan. You are a fan of a different team or you wouldn't be fishing for downvotes. Either way leave you a-hole.

Aren't you the smart guy that said Lowell narcisse will never be a good quarterback because of the size of his calf muscles?

Not true. Some of you still don't understand this isn't just overreacting to losing. Damn near everything most of us feared from O getting the job has already come true and it's only October 1st. This team looks eerily like his Ole Miss teams: undisciplined and uninspired.

How much time is enough time? O and Aranda have been on staff for over a year. We were sold on being able to compete for championships quickly. I don't know what the deal with the offense is, but O admitted he didn't know why Brossette started the game. What needs to be implemented for the HC to know wtf is happening on the first snap of the ballgame?

His studs? or the previous coach that recruited those studs?

Serious question, Ed Orgeron and the entire defensive staff is intact. Where are their studs? Greedy is a good one... Where are the rest?

Do you really think Miles left a team that isn't better than Troy? Is this a real opinion?

Nope...but the answer is yes when you add in the unplanned departures by school players since miles left with the cupboard bare.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but 5 star wr's and db's are not enough to win at this kevel
