Full Scholarship athletes want for nothing I promise you

How could you possibly know what was going on in that locker room back then?

He says NIL will most defiantly cause issues in the locker room. Some guys will make bank while others will still struggle and that is going to cause issues.

this will just inflate there already amassing Egos they got from a few stars by there name, sad thing is now a 5 star Oline isn't worth as much as a 5 star WR so that kid will think he can talk down his equally talented yet poorer teammate.

If they are really competitive, I would think it would motivate them.

Well, what's going to happen is people that don't get much playing time or endorsements will GTFO with the quickness and transfer. Its going to make the roster situation much more complicated, as these kids now have much more on the line.

Because I know the monetary value of a full scholarship

If the players “don’t have money to eat”, they are buying drugs or their family is taking their money

Fact. They'll form a union and try to split the pot. It will get ugly

Why do people keep saying this?

In every sport, certain players get paid way more, and everything works out just fine

I mean, every sport has a union and the unions have negotiated minimum salaries.

agree with your earlier post, scholarship athletes don't lack for much, they've been getting "paid" forever

This is the part of life many have the hardest time getting over. They want everyone else’s stuff given to them because muh equity.

What?
A couple of weeks ago, Rohan was on with Culotta and said he believed Brennan will start and listed the reasons.

Not sure how accurate Booty's opinion is. My recollection is that Rohan seems to have good info more often than not. But I am uncertain who has the best connection so I don't know any of that.

My gut (which is probably the worst thing to base LSU opinions on, lol) tells me that Brennan will be the man unless he steps in it or gets injured.

I have no sources, just opinions.

So NIL is going to mean the players are going to be fighting each other in the locker room? What else is new?

college football players on scholarship get free food, and they also get a stipend of a few thousand dollars. No one is going hungry in today's college football.

He's right, but pandaro's box is open. College sports is over as we know it. The recruiting advantage will end up switching back to the big market regions.

no rules now, the potential endorsers will be instrumental in recruiting going forward, kids will probably sign contracts with them before LOI's

Absolutely! Nobody can predict how this will turnout. Since they will all be professionals, what is to keep the young stars from suing the NFL for admittance into their League.
No rules in an"Equity" USA.

Also when he was asked about O, he said he needs good coaches behind him. He is not an X and O guy and doesn't know offense. Great recruiter, great D Line coach, but needs smarT folks behind him.
LSU will never be a big time consistently elite and Championship winning program with a Head Coach that fits into this category.

There's already been enough evidence of this with Orgeron.

Linehan and Pelini are all the evidence yall need.

He just doesn't have the overall organizational ability to keep this thing at elite level that we all demand it to be.

Give the Band-Aid one more pull (2021) and then just yank it off permanently with more force if it doesn't come off........

He is right. If the woke crowd really cared about equity they would really push for scholarships. Everyone get the same benefit.

"Issues in the locker room". People are missing a huge part of this mess. Players arguing with teammates is one thing. But don't think for a minute that players' agents...they are allowed to hire one for NIL only
(yea, right) ...won't start playing the blame game, as opposed to taking the heat for not helping their clients. Agents will remove any & all rationality from this mess. Who's going to do the audits, separating endorsement monies from agents under the table payments?
