LOL-What do you think should have happened? There is nothing to talk about. LSU is protecting LSU by suspending him so he does not have to speak...What does he need to say?

So Alleva got butt hurt he didn’t get his way and made a rash decision.

Sounds familiar.

So he doesn't give them a reason to fire him with cause and cost him a ton of money. Don't think he's in danger from a criminal standpoint, its about not getting fired for cause.

Remember, neither Wade nor LSU have a reduced buyout in his contract. If LSU fires Wade, they owe him the rest of his contract, unless they fire him for cause.

Was probably a good idea considering Alleva's incompetence.

Absolutely.

Good on him for taking the call.

However this doesn’t excuse Alleva and F. King looking for a fall guy. An attorney is never going to go for that.

Maybe bc whatever he says can be used against him in the future or to cross examine him at the upcoming trial.

Or they're trying to get him to say something that would allow them to fire him for cause, voiding his contract.

Why would his attorneys tell him not to speak to the ad?

Seems like a really terrible move if youre not covering anything up.

Wade not talking to his boss leaves little option.

Well this changes my opinion and I don't like that, so I don't believe you.

Wade is handling this as poorly as anyone, it seems. Goddamn this sucks.

What's the motive for not speaking to your AD?

That's fine, but suspension seems logical in that case.

agreed. If he can’t speak to his own boss(es), who can he talk to? If this is true, he is a gone pecan in my opinion. He has been advised by his attorney to refuse to speak to his own boss- that makes him seem as guilty as sin. He’s worried about criminal charges.

This was exactly Mr. Mallett’s reasoning and said he was very disappointed by his response to their request because everyone(BOD) wanted him to succeed.
