His contract should be terminated for breach based on the lack of performance sufficient to believe he acted in good faith and to perform at a rate contemplated. He should pay LSU for the loss of revenue caused by his non performance.

I’m not totally in favor of dismissing Woodward.
He has hired 4 head coaches, 2 have won National Championships, 2 have not.
The worst decision he made in hiring Kelly are the terms of the contract. No coach should get 10 years guaranteed, max guaranteed shouldn’t exceed 5 years.
In hindsight, he also had an overreaction dismissing Wade because he thought there would be sanctions beyond basketball.
He’s had 2 shitty hires and 2 excellent hires. Let’s give him a shot at finding a FB HC, but also let’s hope he doesn’t strap us into a long term contract.

Football is THE hire that matters. Its the golden goose for all other athletics. This is like losing the presidency but being glad you pick up a Senate seat and some House seats.

Frank is a great choice for interim. He’s wildly popular with the players. Good recruiter, has HC experience, and LOVES LSU. He will take care of the program until we hire Lane this winter.
