They only lost by 4 with that officiating crew, 22 turnovers and about 20 missed layups... This isn't hard to fix

Many problems in this game. The officiating seems to be calling every single contact on LSU and none on Vanderbilt. Our on ball defense has been piss poor all game. Kim needs to sub more. This is showing up on how we are playing defensively and offensively. Players are tired on the court and they get lazy. Missing too many close to the basket shots. No in and out play. We absolutely should be shooting more 3 pointers with our 3 point shooting team. Bella Hines needs to play more. She is an excellent defensive player and shooter.
Once again, this officiating crew was atrocious but we still had plenty of opportunities to win this game. Kim was out coached.

Not making excuses but man these refs were straight up garbage

We just simply aren’t as good as we thought we were…..Koval isn’t nearly as good as we were led to believe. We need Joiner to develop quick down low.

Non travel call when girl fell down with the ball and both feet flipped in the air, plus the missed out of bounds call was a 5 point difference in a 4 point game.

LSU players were sloppy; this wasn't decided on Xs and Os but on player performance and officiating.

When the lady that beats you by doing the same thing over and over I just don’t understand. At least make her go somewhere else besides to her right to the baseline. shite.

nope. i agree for sure on their lack of defending threes...and shite passing and ball control.
i think i know why mulkey may not want them closing out on 3's but when they are hitting you have to defend them.

I really thought we were seeing a philosophy change in three point attempts with this team, but clearly that was only due to opponents. You have to be a rebounding juggernaut to shoot so many fewer threes than your opponent on a regular basis, and this team is clearly not a rebounding juggernaut.
In a vacuum, 2 losses to highly ranked teams with one on the road is not that bad. But the way they happened shows that this team is soft right now. Just outhustled to almost every loose ball, followed by vomiting up atrocious turnovers. They have a lot to fix and a schedule that does not let up.

The one thing Kim wasn’t worried about, and you can search through her post game pressers to hear it from her own lips, was that this team could score the ball. Well, after playing the only two teams with a pulse they’ve had season lows in back to back games. Their bigs are terrible and there’s no inside out game.
And how do you lose a game in which you out rebound the other team by 20? By committing 22 turnovers. And most of those are boneheaded mistakes.
Kim has her work cut out and this team needs to do some soul searching. They are not as talented or as good as they think they are and it’s going to take better focus and toughness to get where they want to go.

right. and i think that is why she does what she does on three balls...more help to get boards yet they need to close out on hot 3 shooters.
