I think jay should keep Anderson at about 70 pitches or something like that. He seems to lose it at that point. As soon as he walks a batter or two then you know he's pretty much done. He always gives up hits after he walks guys or starts to lose his control. Through 5 he's almost been untouchable though

I think he kept Anderson in today purely to see if he could handle it tbh

but you don't replace Braswell with a guy who has had maybe 2 hits since he got to campus in August. That makes no sense. Braswell has 150+ SEC starts let him work it out.

I’m assuming we’re talking about Reaves here (and not Ryan) - I may be off base, but I think Reaves came in to PH late in that second Omaha game and broke the no-hitter to give some hope for a rally. The next game of the doubleheader, he started and hit leadoff. Just a guess, but maybe has something to do with giving Reaves more chances lately.

no he replaced braswell with Ryan in 7th or 8th

Ok, well you said you didn’t want Pearson in the game. What’s your next pivot going to be? He made two outstanding plays in two straight innings.
I’ll accept my downvotes, but Curiel catches that ball in the air that Pearson caught on the bounce. Go back and watch. From the moment that view was shown, Curiel covered a lot more ground than Pearson and the ball bounced about 6’ from Pearson’s feet. If Jay doesn’t shuffle personnel, I honestly think Curiel snags that in the air and there is no play at home.

lil Pearson was on deck to PH for Ryan but CJJ decided to let the young guy take a hack
