Undoubtedly one of the toughest of the entire field.
Yea FSU will be a little down and they usually choke but its a very tough regional.
UVA, Houston and Louisville regionals are also very tough.

I just think it would make great baseball at the box with those teams.
I would prefer LSU be a national seed obviously, but we shouldnt be scared of FSU and ULL.

Does anyone else notice it seems to be the cool thing to hate on baseball this year?
I have not noticed this in the past.

There's a large portion of LSU fans that believe you can only be a fan of one sport. And if you cheer for a different sport than theirs or mention that you're excited for the season of that sport, then you're a shite person.
These people aren't what I'd call "worthwhile" members of society.

There are football purist who think only football matters and basketball and baseball are football offseason sports, so don't discuss baseball or basketball during spring football.
You have the basketball fans who hate baseball, they say it's irrelevant, stupid sport, and they hate baseball threads during basketball season.
The Basketball team is much better this year so you have group 2 little more.

I honestly believe that the type of fans you are referring to are not really fans of any sport but are fans of the game atmosphere. They are the ones who cannot sit through an entire game of any sport because their real interest is outside the venue. They can't understand how anyone could be so infatuated with a game that they would file numerous posts about it before the season actually begins.

Yeah, I don't get it. I understand only paying attention to certain sports or only thinking about one at a time, but why open the thread to complain in the first place if you don't like it?

Damn, that was tough to be at. Crazy game. Best atmosphere I've been apart of at an LSU basketball game.

Had a great time at the game. Good atmosphere. If only they could play with 2/3 of that energy every night.

I don't get that mentality at all. We aren't talking about keeping up with physics and neuroscience, so it's not like you have to be very smart to follow two sports at once.
It's not all or nothing. I followed recruiting a little there at the end, watched a few basketball games, and read up on the baseball practices and scrimmages all within the last couple weeks.
There's really no reason to put down the fans of the other sports. I do agree that if you don't like a sport, why waste your time making message board comments about it?
