If former players write checks it’s to upgrade facilities for the current players and future recruits. I understand the people that complain about the box, don’t necessarily agree with everything but understand it, but the facilities for the players are the best in the country and that’s what recruits want.

I actually agree with this second post. They didn’t go cheap on it, it’s been stated multiple times how nice South Carolinas stadium is, that field also opened in 2009 and cost 35.6M to build. Kentucky opened their stadium nearly a decade later and it cost 49M.
I don’t think cost was the issue, LSU clearly put out some good money, the problem is with whoever designed the thing and whoever signed off on it.

Screw a berm, I’d rather the bleachers. I love the idea of a multi level bar/party deck overlooking the outfield bleachers. Easily done and a money maker!

It’s embarrassing how the new box is suppose to be a Mecca but it’s like 4th best in conference behind Arkansas, South Carolina and Mississippi state.
One could argue ole miss as well due to its features

It really doesn’t look that bad. I’m not crazy about the Planet Fitness logo but it is what it is. Even Major League Baseball whores themselves out to ads so it’s not anything unprecedented.

Yes. People complaining about an ad are just dumb. Every minor and major league park has Ads. It's been that way for over 125 years. Alex box has displayed ads ever since bartman arrived. Get over it!
