Serious question - any chance Russell Reynolds can contribute for us this year? How's his rehab progressing
I've heard he's progressing well but I don't think the coaches are going to rush him back this year.

Try Kramer Robertson.
The guy was an awesome pitcher in high school.
88 - 92 mph with good curve.
I don't know why he hasn't pitched yet.
Manieri had a 5 foot 5 third baseman throwing 102 from 3rd and didn't let him pitch. Do you honestly think he's going to let a 5 foot 4 2nd baseman who only throws 92 pitch for him?

I am confused - Who is 5'4" at 2nd?
If you are talking about Robertson.
The guy is more like 5'10" or 5'11"
Also I agree with the guy about Scivicque.
He was pretty good - might be worth a shot.

Tom seems to have lost his mind.

This thread provided great Monday morning comic relief.
Obviously Sunday starter is a problem (see Astro's stats) but I'm not giving up on Bouman and/or Bugg.
Sunday starting is a revolving door for many college teams (even quality teams).
Miss. State never really settled on a Sunday starter last year, just relied on their bullpen early and often. That seamed to work out pretty well for them in June.
It's all about winning weekend series. Trust CPM, he's good at this baseball coaching thing.

this has to be some kinda lame troll attempt.

judging by his post count/register date info... may just be someone's seldom used alter.

It seems like most are trolling but some seem to actually believe the fix to finding a sunday starter is someone who has never pitched at all at the college level
..would definitely be where I would look if I was a coach.
In all seriousness though I wouldn't mind seeing Bugg get a shot. He's always been a starting pitcher so it shouldn't be unfamiliar to him. Even if he can just give you 4 or 5 decent innings its better than what we've had lately.

Ok, now I know this is a troll attempt.
Well played, Tom, well played.

Well. I needed a good laugh today. Guess coming to TD.com after a loss can do that.
I was starting to wonder if Maineri was saving Bugg for a Thursday start or something with him non-existent in the Arkansas series till 1 inning Sunday.

This has to be the thread of the year. Maybe the decade.

Kade Scivicque - The once Maurepas Masher transforms to the Maurepas Moundsman!!

Why don't y'all want Robertson to pitch?
Y'all people must not know who his mom is.
Also, I think we can take Bregman and let him play all positions at once, like bugs bunny did in the cartoons.
Lastly we fire Dunn, and promote Javi to pitching coach.
