What about the golden girls and them tight-@ss suits and that blonde hair. Must be attention whores. People go to LSU for the game, the atmosphere and the people. I don't see how what they wear is relevant as far as whether you are a better LSU fan than they are. But this "holier than thou" complex you have isn't good for you're mental health, just so you know........

And as for the LSU pimps attending LSU? No, unless it was back in the 80's. Those dudes are clearly too old to be attending college. My point was that the image they project (of criminality & crassness) gets associated with my school. There's nothing criminal about drinking and having a good time.

Yes. Those guys aren't putting on masks and painting themselves because it is the most comfortable thing in their closets. They aren't my thing, but at least they aren't costumed as what most Americans think of as criminals.

Dude, the whole point is they are attention whores. That is it. They do it to get attention, thus that is what they are.
Batman and Spiderman are stupid too. It's silly and serves nothing but to get themselves on TV and have everyone know who they are. Ask yourself this: If they weren't getting attention for it, would they do it?
The answer is NO, they definitely wouldn't. I'd rather have fans cheering on the football team and screaming their asses off than see dumbasses dressed up like that trying to draw attention away from the game.
Being a true fan isn't about be willing to dress up like an idiot, its supporting the TEAM and representing the university's image.
