Pardon an old man with failing memory. Who was the other or first?

technically Johnny Robinson was the first.

He was on the 1958 LSU team and the 1970 Chiefs.

Billy Cannon played in Super Bowl II but lost. Jim Taylor just missed the 1958 title team but won the first Super Bowl.

Rams have a really good defense to go with a good offense. It’s gonna be really tough for Joe and co.

People have said this every round, so far. They keep winning though.

Brady is the best ever, and will most likely hold the record with 7.

But can't you just picture Joe poppin off about 8 in 15 years? I can't believe he's taken that dumpster fire to the SB in year TWO, after major knee surgery. I will NEVER bet against Burrough, I've seen enough of his work. This dude is different.

People said that when Dan Marino lost to the 49ers as a rookie. He never made the Super Bowl again.

I hope he wins this one.

Great Tiger, but he's an O Lineman. It's a cold way to say it, but those guys are plug-and-play, at least for perception. The QB is the identity of the team. I want Burrow to win, and be the MVP.

Actually Dan himself said that back in '84/'85. With the Mark brothers as dangerous weapons and a decent defense, they thought that they would make it to the Superbowl almost every other year.
And you are right, they never made it again (the closest was losing the AFC championship in '93 to no other but the Bills).

They only gave up 1 sack today

Mainly due to Bengals getting away from their base offense and game planning to get rid of the ball quickly with shorter drops. That first half was a disaster saved by that great screen call for 6.

I hope I am wrong, but the Rams with Donald and Von Miller are going to be teeing off on Burrow all day. That O-line is horrible at pass protection. Their only saving grace is that they do zone block reasonably well, keeping Def honest.

If by chance they DO give him time, the Bengals will win rather comfortably. Joe and the skill position players are that good.
