They had open threes and hit a high percentage.
We had numerous good looks and couldn’t hit any.
He over simplified the problem without giving an explanation.
We can’t give up open threes to a team that shoots that good
and we have to hit good looks when get them.

Alabama and Tennessee have good football and MBB programs.

Bottom line is you have to score from 3 pt line in today's basketball. If you can't fill it up from 3 you ain't winning. McMahon hasn't learned that yet and it's why LSU needs Will Wade back at the helm. He knows how to win! Geaux Tigers!

A McSpecial. He is the Brad Davis of basketball. I’m not quite sure what the players are taught during practice.
This is what I don't get. His teams make the same mistakes every yr. They are the same team yr In and yr out in a bad way.
He actually had money to spend and he didn't spend it on the right players.

1 out of 116 schools. Tennessee hasn't done shite in football since 1998. I dont want to hear about being #1 3 years ago. Again, its economically impossible

Did you watch the games? They had open shots, just missed them.
The offense wasn't sloppy, the 1st half to's were just individual bad mistakes. Overall 9 to's on the game with that happening. TO's have not been a problem this year.
Shots weren't rushed.
Defense had some missed assignments, but wasn't bad. We defended well on Toppin. The only bad i can think of was handling Toppin on the pick and roll. We sagged too much and left the guard open. On his post ups we did a nice job of doubling then recovering.
None of this matters to them, even with wins, they were out in full force. Now their opinions feel validated with one loss. They live and die by KenPom and Net until this happens, then none of it matters.
Will Wade seems to be scraping by with his season so far, even after getting millions in NIL, so they need something.

It’s also not accurate so…..

I just provided you multiple examples to the contrary. No one expects us to be a top 5 team in all 3 sports every year, but we should be good in all 3 most years because we have the resources to do so.

McMahon makes more than Hubert Davis and about the same as Mark Few. The “muh money” excuse is made up and ignorant.

Really??
They're 4-5 against the spread. Not sure how that's inaccurate.

Has nothing to do with the comments but nice deflection attempt

Lsu will never put resources into basketball, until they decide not to towards football and baseball. Cant have your cake and eat it too. Also the HS talent in the state of Louisiana stinks, and isn't as solid as it once was. Besides, there are too many people close to the program making terrible business decisions. It goes way up from MM. He's nothing but a yes man.

Not defending McMahon, but they won’t run into another team who shoots that percentage the rest of the season. That was an unreal shooting performance, everything they threw up went in and the Tigers were ice cold. Chances are this is McMahon’s last season, but it’s basketball and sometimes nights like these happen. I’ll never pull against the Tigers and I hope they bounce back Saturday in New Orleans!

Yeah 40 of them in conference play over the last three seasons. 14-40 conference record over the past three seasons. Absolutely impossible to spin that (although we have some masochists here that would try like hell)
I take great comfort in knowing that Woodward is gone and this conman “coach” is now on borrowed time.

You have been one of the biggest defenders of McMahon. You criticize people for criticizing him. “Nobody hates LSU more than LSU fans “.
Why? I’m genuinely curious. You were one of Kelly’s biggest enemies on here. You were criticizing him even in the good times. He deserved it the past couple of years obviously. But what I’m confused about is why it’s ok to criticize him but not the basketball coach? He’s a complete failure in every way. Why do you love him so much?

Hahahahahahahaha….you might be the biggest idiot on this board if you truly believe what you posted.
Obviously you don’t know anything about basketball, or you don’t know what “good” really looks like….so I won’t give this another thought
