Considering I’ve said for 3 years that is what happened in his recruitment and why he was such a tough sell back to LSU, I think I know what happened. You can argue all you want but I know I’m right cause I know what happened lol

so picture yourself as a head coach. you ask a player to run a few reps at a different position. He agrees. He then proceeds to tank the drill on purpose, then immediately quit and tries to leave practice without saying anything to you.

In this scenario are you the one in the wrong?

And he's Charmin soft. He floats around the play and piles on after someone else makes a tackle. He's not actually good.
He only plays because of all the lb injuries

I have no position. Trust me, I am no Lester fan but all he said was Chase was not open to playing DB which, from that article, is correct. You and the other cat are arguing that it was Chase that was open to it like the person narrating the article was Chase. It was his dad. Shame on you for making me agree with LE. I feel dirty now.

No, this is what Lester said:

quote:

You read the OP and came away thinking they were open to playing DB?

"They" were open to trying it out, as the father admitted in the OP's content.

Chase didn't want to play DB, Les didn't offer and he'd probably be playing WR for Florida on Saturday if Les had it his way.

Not necessarily..

Didn't he decommit when butter teeth resigned...

When i'm speaking to a father and a son and the father says 'sure thing coach' and the son says nothing - i don't think it is an unreasonable assumption that the kid is on board.

What are you talking about? All I am saying was Chase did not want to play DB nor did he give any indication he wanted to. He did not tank plays, he didn't even give it a go. Sounds like his dad was all LSU and wanted his son there. He did all the talking and Chase's heart was not in it. I am not saying Miles was wrong. Miles offered to monitor him as a receiver.

It's not even about what happened. It's about you and at least one other that cannot follow a thread. Look at what started it. You guys cannot stay on track.

J'Marr's performance thus far says Miles was completely wrong.

Everyone posting here knows this and believes this.

No That's not what anyone is saying at all. It's been spelled out. Just read what foot responded to and exactly what foot posted. It's not hard.

Oh, so you wanted me to bash Miles because that was the only track everyone was on. Whatever, LSU plays Florida this weekend, all I care about.

TE.

The VY thing was brought up, in addition to mentioning Brandon Jacobs and Reggie McNeal, because ALL coaches will occasionally ask a player to move positions who don't and end up doing great at the position the coach was trying to move them from. Likewise, they all get it right sometimes and have success stories of players who moved and did phenomenally well.

For a program that struggles mightily to throw the ball, id say it would have been a huge mistake to not have this guy catching passes on offense.

Except LSU problem has never been lack of talent at the wide receiver position. It’s been lack of offensive philosophy and QB to get them the ball.

Lol you might want to read it a
the part where they were asked and the person with Chase said. “Yeah Coach”

Yes I read that part.

Then Chase didn’t want to do it. And it was dropped. Yeah. Read that part too

Vince would have had a much more successful and longer NFL career had he played wr in college.
