Only losing 1 high school commit through 40 picks seems decent. I’m sure more to come but I’m hoping Jay is on the phone telling them come on down and become a first rounder.

what is shores classification right now, does any body know off-hand… he went thru so much, years of rehab/rebuild, trying to get to be able to pitch… and now it is at long last working out, and pretty darn good for him… cws champ, very very important part of this team, and now it is draft time, and he is ranked pretty high… especially considering what he went thru…

Shores will get more than slot bonus money regardless of draft if he isn't drafted by early 2nd round. Everyone wants a tall, physical 100+mph FB with 2-3 other pitches. It would be a miracle if he made it to 1st day of fall class even though he will probably be in BR before class to signal to MLB that he will come to LSU. THen final day offer will be $500K or more over slot and he will be gone.
