LSU, the only fan base who can take a positive comment about conditioning and spin it negative into something way more. It's conditioning. Conditioning.

Every year during the offseason we hear how great of shape the team is in, how great certain players are coming along, how great the new scheme is. It's coach speak. It means nothing.

Well I thought people would be interested in an interview with one of our coaches you don’t hear from directly all too often.

Hope so. The team looked out of shape first few games of last season.

I think it was more confusion than conditioning.

Maybe it was the 80 yards of presnap motion they were running.

The last time I remember moffit being pumped about the team’s conditioning was his “hay’s in the barn” tweet before the Oregon game in ‘11

if they are in better shape than 2011 that will be something.
That team never seemed to get tired.

Yes it's coach speak. I never put any stock into anything the coaches say positive or negative before the season starts. It doesn't mean anything 99% of the time.

He actually talked about data and everything they do is backed up by data. But coach speak

To be fair, Vic Viloria, who was FSU's head strength coach came over in Feb. So that is a change from years past. He is a loud and passionate guy and is providing that young spark like a certain former Tiger that resides in Tuscaloosa.

would moffitt come out and say, "nah the conditioning was actually better a few years ago. i'm really slacking at my job."

This is what the posters in this thread don't get.

I mean he did post a list of guys that were slacking a few years ago. If I recall correctly it was when scouts were coming around.

no, but that doesn't mean he'd say it is the best they've ever looked regardless either. However, Moffitt has been known to call out players for slacking off in the weight room, unless you're forgetting this picture

Horrible news. You can bet that it's just the opposite. If you don't believe just wait for the football experts comments over the next few pages.
