Storz is pitching bullpens and has been feeling good. You may see him midweek next week. If not definitely the following week as long as there’s no set backs. Jaden Hill won’t be back til the SEC tourney at this point

That would be his greatest accomplishment to date.

Mostly good news, i dont expect to see jaden hill this year as posted earlier. This long with an injury, you arent gonna bring him back and try to ease him in, during the crucial part of the season, unless we are in a dire need for arms

How about giving him a shot in the lineup! He was heralded as a two way player. Until he’s ready to contribute on the mound give him some cuts! He could be the second coming of the Bain train!

On the call in show CPM said Hill progresses then soreness sets in
MRI showed nothing structural
Said they are hopeful he will be better by post season but it didn’t sound encouraging

I wonder what exactly this "soreness" is. Certainly arm soreness for a pitcher is a common thing. I get sore after I work out really hard. I find when I'm sore, I move around a lot and the soreness goes away. Do they fear that the soreness leads to structural damage?

This kind of stuff confuses the hell out of me.

That’s lactic acid. Typically, activity and/or an epsom salt bath makes that go away.

I would assume the soreness referenced here is not merely lactic acid soreness.

I know. It has to be something different, but I don't understand it.

He did say elbow, left that out of post

I’m guessing they worry about structural damage but did say MRI showed none

This kind of stuff is over my head

What is tendinitis of the elbow? How long does it take to get rid of? How do you fix it? Is there risk of further injuring?

“A similar condition, also suffered by pitchers, is golfer's elbow, which is an inflammation of tendons on the inside of the elbow rather than on the outside. And, yes, golfers get it too. Both can be treated with anti-inflammatory drugs, ice and, of course, rest and time.”

Skip just said he doesn’t think we will see Hill again
He made it clear that it was his opinion

Man, all of this sounds pretty encouraging. Having a potential right-handed bat in Dugas could be big down the stretch. God willing Marceaux can get back to full strength too and Watson and Reid can get back in the groove.

This team has got a run in it. I can feel it in my plums.

Haha damn didn’t realize that. I heard he would be ready in a couple weeks and probably pitch in a midweek game to start per usual.
