Al Woods, D. Huter are obvious but saw a highlight earlier of Alfred Blue and I never thought he'd make a NFL roster much less have a decent five year career in the NFL..

I just flinched

nah but i'm happy for Danny that he spent an above average time in the NFL, and played very well.

Todd McClure, played 13 seasons in the NFL.
McClure was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the seventh round of the 1999 NFL draft. During training camp of his rookie season he suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and missed his entire rookie season. During his second season he took over as the Falcons starting center after Calvin Collins was moved to guard. Since then he missed only one game and was the Falcons starting center from 2000 until his retirement after the 2012 season.

Grew up with Todd. He's an equally good guy as he was a football player.

Danny Etling Drafted in the seventh round. Played for seven NFL teams as a back up and now plays in the United Football League. He left LSU in 2018. Talk about an underdog making the best of it. Around 5 million in career earnings. Not bad at all Danny

Russell Sheppard came to LSU highly recruited and did next to nothing in Les's offense. Then spent six or seven years in the NFL.

Johnny Robinson - although all-SEC, he was overshadowed by Billy Cannon; ended up All-Pro and long-overdue Hall of Famer.

Best answer so far IMO. I didn't see this success coming for him.

For me it was always Wade Richey, who couldn’t kick the ball into the Gulf of you put him on the Grand Isle beach during low tide while he was at LSU.

Garrett Temple, coming in at $53 million for his career earnings, fantastic. Dude is a worker. 38 years old and still banging in the league.

Not only that but he’s married to a former Miss USA to boot

He hasn't done anything except of course catch a game winning pass against the Saints one time.

That's pretty routine for a wide receiver when your opponent is the N O Saints.

Brian Wilson...fear the beard was a real thing in MLB for few years...his time in BR was hardly memorable.

Jason Vargas is another guy who was here then transferred out and has a good MLB career.

Hunter Feduccia, Charlie Furbush, Nick Rumbelow, and Nick Goody are some other guys who I did not see getting a call up as quickly as they did after they left LSU.
