How dare that coach eat anything! What a fricking disgrace to the game!!!

:smh:

So you suggest that CPM wait until the game is almost over, and the stupidity of this idea won't blow up in his face with a TCU win.

That'll show just how bold and unflappable LSU is. Nothing fazes LSU. You can't get in our guys' dome.

Unless your coach eats an apple.

Nah would be funnier if PM and the family from Roadrunner start filming a new commercial announcing they are now available in Omaha "we don't want your arms or legs we just want your Toads"

No. I'd just rather our fans in the stands start yelling woo hoo to show TCU fans how Damn annoying it is.

No more annoying than the L-S-U chant repeated over and over.

Not even close. Woo hoo has to be one of the most annoying things I have ever heard a fanbase cheer. No problem if they wanted to chant T-C-U...T-C-U.

Last night, a player from Florida looked like he was eating a PB&J in the dugout.

Must have food in the locker room.

Camera zoomed in on a bag of fruit and some bubble gum during the game for the players. So what??

Only thing LSU needs to worry about is hitting the ball and winning the damn game.

Can't fill up before the game so it's good to snack during. Summer Heat can wear people out

I love how our fan base thinks this was malicious or was done in any way to slight our team in that game. That coach has eaten an apple in every game so far. It would honestly be a dick move on our part and would be embarrassing if our coach/fans would do this thinking they were actually "sticking it to him", when in reality we would really just look like fricking idiots.

Ugh, I think this is more of something to do with the amount the announcers were talking about the apple, then our fans thinking this was some malicious attack against LSU. It was an apple man. Sarcasims dead now a days so sad.

Its that chip LSU fans have carried on their shoulders for decades. Not certain where it originated but its very apparent and sometimes it can become rather silly.

I heard when Kevin Gausman was at LSU other SEC teams would have dozens of powered donuts in their dugout just waiting for the opportunity to throw it back at us. Of course I'm kidding.

If he or the team are even remotely thinking about doing something like this then they've already lost the game.

It also doesn't hurt that apples are the healthiest thing you could eat.

quote:

An Apple a Day to Keep 5 Chronic Diseases Away?

A wealth of research suggests that eating apples may impact your health in a number of beneficial ways:
•Brain Health: Apples have been found to protect neuron cells against oxidative stress-induced neurotoxicity and may play an important role in reducing the risk of neurodegenerative disorders, such as Alzheimer's disease.

•Stroke: Eating apples is linked to a decreased risk of stroke.

•Diabetes: Three servings of apples (and other fruits, such as blueberries and grapes) is linked to a 7 percent lower risk of type 2 diabetes.8 This may be due to their beneficial role in blood sugar regulation, as apples contain compounds that may.

•Lessen absorption of glucose from your digestive tract

•Stimulate beta cells in your pancreas to secrete insulin

•Increase uptake of glucose from your blood by stimulating insulin receptors

•Cancer: Apples have a number of properties that may help reduce the risk of cancer, including antimutagenic activity, antioxidant activity, anti-inflammatory mechanisms, antiproliferative and apoptosis-inducing activity, as well as "novel mechanisms on epigenetic events and innate immunity." According to the journal Planta Medical

“Apple products have been shown to prevent skin, mammary and colon carcinogenesis in animal models. Epidemiological observations indicate that regular consumption of one or more apples a day may reduce the risk for lung and colon cancer.”

•Heart Disease: Eating apples is associated with a lower risk of death from heart disease, an association that’s thought to be related to their content of antioxidant flavonoids.
