I mean an "abdominal strain"? Really? 2 QBs in a row? wth? And Kelley should've sat Woodward down after the spring game and said look, our O line is awful, we may not score a TD this season.

He is a millionaire more money than most here will ever have; he is set for life. I definitely don’t feel sorry for him.
At least he got the chance and did play.

Probably just like the one that is linked was taken. I’d have to come back when everybody was gone.

He just didn't put in the work this off-season. He did the opposite of what Jayden Daniels and Burrow did their senior seasons. He collected his NIL money And didn't get better. Alot of this is his fault. He had a ton of potential and got lazy. He physically looks like a average frat boy at LSU, and it showed. Thats not what a d1 qb should look like.

I feel bad for Nuss in a way when I think about where he would’ve been drafted last year verses now, but then I think about some things and don’t feel as bad. He made 3 million+ this year and got engaged. He seems like a young man that speaks well and has a good head on his shoulders and has a nfl coach as a dad so he’ll be fine moving forward financially.
Now, he definitely was so frustrating to watch at times, even with the worst offensive line in recent LSU history he had awful pocket presence for a 5th year senior with a dad who has coached him to play qb from a young age. He never can throw a ball away. He would rather make a wtf throw into triple coverage or get his wr’s head taken off. Once he realized that he wasn’t doing great he’d lay on the ground after every hit or 3rd down he didn’t convert. He’d burn a timeout in the 1st quarter seemingly every game. He could just be so frustrating to watch, especially with the expectations we had of him making a senior jump.
I wish him well in life and hate it turned out how it did, but I can’t say I’ll miss watching him be the starting qb for LSU.

It's sad to see how so many have turned against him. And not just frustrated with his play, some people have taken it to another level just because he didn't make the playoffs here. I know his decision making is head scratching some times, but it's not his fault that BK completely neglected his duties as a head coach and failed not only Nuss, but the entire team and fan base.
With any semblance of an offensive line, this team is most likely a playoff team with Nuss at QB.
In an era where players, especially QBs, transfer instead of waiting their turn, we should be able to appreciate someone like Nuss for being committed to the school. It's unfortunate it didn't work out, but such is life.

He’s a loser. He’ll make another few million $ on a signing bonus for some sorry nfl team and we’ll never hear of him again. Adios.
—Wow. Who’s the loser here?

LSU offense’s epic failure was the perfect storm of ineptitude at HC, OC and OL and player talent/experience on the OL.
At this point there’s son much wrong with this offense most people’s heads are spinning trying to find a singular root cause!

Agreed...you don't just lose the ability to throw the ball the way he did. The injuries, worse line I've seen LSU have ever and terrible coaching.. I believe some of it became mental after all the hits and pressures he took. I do hope we get some new tackles in the portal and QB bc MVB can't throw better than a hurt Nuss

Bk should have sat him until he was 100% healthy

The Jason Aldean nuss edits are going to hit home 10 years from now

If you're not working everyday, at your craft to get better, you're getting worse.
Mentally, Nuss never seemed to be where he needed to be.
Phsyically, he was always limited.
"If" he was injured and, he continued to play, the coaching staff is to blame.
The OL should catch some of the blame. WR's dropped some but, there were times in many games where he could have, stepped up into the pocket, bought more time to make better decisions and better throws.
The team as a whole has been limited by coaching.
Baker was/is a brite spot.

Exactly. I feel bad for him. He wanted to be at LSU and win at LSU it just didn't work out. He is a true Tiger.

He didn’t live up to the hype that is for sure. I think there are several reasons why and some of those reasons are on him and some are on a shite offensive coaching staff. The OL was the worst I have seen at LSU. I still doubt he gets drafted but I believe he is fourth in career passing yards and TD’s at LSU based on two years of starting. We have had much worse at QB in the fifty years I have watched LSU football.
