And people rag on Daniels because he’s not as accurate. And Nuss because he’s not as protective with the football.

They think back to their HS playing days, and how most players had to "wait their turn" and play when the guy ahead of them graduates.
It's sophmorish thinking, and in no way represents how a big time college football program is run. You play the best players at each position, regardless of class. PERIOD.
A lot of this line of thinking goes into "not being a stargazer". They remember that night we almost beat the top team in the district, but got that bad call, etc.., when NEITHER team had any difference makers to speak of. Stars are what win in major college football, with rare exception.

brennan has a large following because
1) He was highly regarded coming out of HS at a time we had pure shite at QB, so he was the only hope

I could see how someone might post the tweet and delete it after realizing they should wait until after practice. I believe that is the rule and they may have gotten a bit too excited to break the news.
