If he’s going with 3 couples, Bar Marilou is solid, the women love it.

I’ve never been to the Four Seasons but everyone is talking about it.

Calling somebody else a bitch, while you're too afraid to walk around in a major US city? Look in the mirror bud.

You strike me as a nice guy. Please, stay away from Nola. Soooo dangerous. It’ll be better one day soon when somebody with some sense is running that city again. It ain’t worth it boss. Really

Anywhere in New Orleans is open season. Stay in suburbs outside of Orleans parish.
Look for restaurants in Metairie or Mandeville/Covington.

To the OP:
There are a lot of great restaurants in the French Quarter, not on Bourbon St.
Mr. B’s
GW Fins
Don’t wait in line at Acme Oyster, go next door to the Bourbon House
Yes, Parkway is crowded with tourists but for good reason…great po-boys.
St. John
Irene’s
Cochin
Drago’s
Mandina’s
Katie’s
Jacques-Imo’s will take reservations for 6. Worth it

Enjoy

Post this on the food and drink board to get better responses.

You’re young and coming with other couples so you’ll probably enjoy the warehouse district and magazine street. Lots of great bars and restaurants in those areas.

For small plates/tapas I recommend Baru on Magazine. Ask for a seat upstairs, on the balcony if it isn't too hot /humid. Nice 'New Orleans' vibe/atmosphere; your ladies will love it.
