He doesn't have that instinct that come naturally to great QB's either you have it or you don't and if you don't it's emphasized in SEC prime-time college football.. it is what it is

We got our arse beat , no excuses, but I cracked up when they showed freeze frame shots during replays that frequently showed Bama DBs with handfuls of our receivers jerseys.

This x 1000. He can not make good decisions on the fly. No awareness. It’s like he has a play he wants to make and by damn he’s making it no matter what the defense is showing you. Long passes on short yardage 3rd downs, not scanning the field, no trick plays, will NOT run the ball and on the rare occasions he does he runs like a scared junior high QB. He’s a decent sized guy. He acts like he is terrified of getting tackled.

Nuss always seemed to be shaky when it came to thinking under pressure. It seems like he overthinking and forcing things over just seeing and then executing the possible. Bad coaching or maybe he just can't take the pressure either way he seems to be a disappointment in THE primary position at this point.
