I dont believe he was truly injured. He may have played hurt, but a core injury doesn't mean you throw to checkdowns every single time.
Holy shite man. It was obvious.

I wondered during the season, that in spite of the injury, Nuss was chasing the Heisman. He was one of the top returners for the Heisman. That’s a big carrot to chase. Toss in that he wanted to be a team player, he tried to play through it, and it lingered. He should have shut it down until healthy.

Nuss was purportedly injured before the the Clemson game. He may have reinjured himself in the Clemson game.
Nuss should have healed up and never played the first month of the season if he was that limited by injury.
BK needed to get another QB ready to let Nuss get better. BK is an incompetent fool.
The first four games on the schedule had only one SEC opponent.
LSU may have got beaten by Clemson and Florida with Nuss out.
Imagine a healthy Nuss returning and possibly running the table and LSU making the playoffs.
BK was a lazy coach and was incapable of thinking out of the box.

Will he start limping first bad pass at the combine?

Something was obviously wrong, dude was slinging it like Brett Farve in that SEC championship game.
LSU holds the SECCG passing yardage record due in part to his 298 yards or whatever in that game. JD5 also had 200+ in the first half before he was injured and knocked out of the game.
Nuss' passes definitely looked affected by an injury. However, even when he was healthy, he made a lot of questionable decisions. He led the SEC in interceptions as a result in 2024 and had a number of bad games. The ones in the aTm game were killers. And against USC, we got bailed out of a 100-yard pick 6 return because of an unnecessary roughness call due to a guy hitting Nuss after he threw the pick in their end zone.
His decision-making is his biggest issue (healthy or not). You can get away with not super-mobile in the NFL more than you can in college these days, but if you don't run much, you have to be very accurate and make fast, good decisions. His decision-making is still a big negative for him despite his arm talent when healthy.

Thanks Scone
Moscona also spent half the season telling everyone that Nuss was "fine". frick him.

Core injuries dont affect decision making. Core injuries affect velocity, and potentially accuracy but the fact that Nuss missed guys wide open downfield and instead threw to checkdowns tells me a lot.
When you know the velocity is diminished and accuracy is off because of core injury, you make the decision to throw shorter passes.
This isn't that hard to understand.

The Nuss haters act like 2024 was a mirage.

Scome also was saying Nuss wasn't hurt during the beginning of the season. Called people out who said we can see with out eyes Nuss isnt right.

I always thought he had an arm issue bc he was put on a pitch count in fall camp

Wish the guy luck, but 2 years of limping off the field while appearing fine on the next play or drive gas turned me into a non NUSS believer.
Selective memory... the dude threw for over 4000 yards the previous year. Better coaching and offensive line will do him a world of good...

And I'm willing to bet it took Moscona somewhere between 22 and 27 minutes to make this one simple point.

Do you think this is some great accomplishment? You don't realize he finished most of the SEC barely over 50% completion with more turnovers than TDs?

No, we are just intelligent enough to realize 2024 wasnt nearly as good as fans like you think.
Multiple games with 50% or less completions and finished the year with turnovers than TDs in SEC play.

No mirage today. He is again throwing it like "24".
Anderson looks good also.

Okay, let's get this out of the way early. I haven't been a big fan of Nuss and to be honest, I dont believe he was truly injured. He may have played hurt, but a core injury doesn't mean you throw to checkdowns every single time.
Have you ever thrown a ball more than 30 yds? You use your core and legs. If it was "just" painful, he could try to play through it, but it also means every throw would hurt like a motherfricker, and in particular the deep balls and when he'd try to generate some velocity.

Stopped here. You must be retarded. No one could watch him sling it in 2024 and not realize he was hurt in 2025. Dude couldn't throw the ball 15 yards.
Then why the hell was he playing? And why did he all of a sudden not play after getting benched, except now it’s just so convenient.

Do you think Nuss was EVER affective throwing the deep ball? Heads up, he never has been. Sub 30% completion on throws over 25 yards INCLUDING 2024 season
Your right when he was healthy he always over threw the receiver. He was obviously hurt this yr. IMH.
