What they should do though is not offer it all upfront but have different amounts paid when milestones are reached. Like after a full year, when a player becomes a starter, if the player wins post season accolades, etc.
It’s pretty easy to get around to be honest.
“We’re signing you to a $1 million dollar deal structured through 4 years to advertise Raising Canes Chicken Fingers for LSU. You get $250k each year you advertise Raising Canes Chicken Fingers as an LSU player.”
Something along these lines is coming to protect the money men from transfers.

What I can’t reason out is why transfer and deal with all the BS for a year? Seems like he’s played well enough to establish his NFL status and will see good competition next year. Anyway, best of luck to him.
