For the current make-up (bad defense, very little pitching) of this team to work, we really needed Doughty and Morgan to be no less than .325 to .330 each, and Dugas to be close to 2020 form. DH being higher than .250 would have helped too. All these things are possible, but not one has happened. In fact, both Doughty and Morgan may be below .300 by the end of the weekend. Until these items listed improve, this is just a .500 team in conference.

Losing this series would probably eliminate us from a top 4 seed in the SECt unless we somehow sweep @vandy. We need that top 4 seed if we have any hope of hosting a super. But that was probably a long shot anyway

This team can lose 2 out of 3 this series and easily host a regional, with that said, hosting as a 15/16 is prob a death sentence, and it would be better to be a 2 seed in say, notre dame

If LSU travels it will be somewhere west of the San Joaquin Valley
