On two of them Gaines didn't close down worth a shite. He stopped 4 feet off the shooter both times with his hands up. Wide open shots are going to get knocked down by SEC players. The effort on defense the last few games has really been worrisome. They can't wait to get down by 11+ to start defending.

Would love for Eason to stay and develop a mid range/post game. He bullied teams early in the year, but he has no moves other than spinning in the lane.

These players are either incapable of playing more consistently or the coaches are incapable of teaching them to play more consistently. No other explanation.
