We have the worst reputation across the country. It’s embarrassing.

In the seats I was cheering hard for the Tigers. I noticed the boomer babe sitting next to me looking frightened. I sat down and calmly explained that she was perfectly safe, and that I would protect her from any real threat.

And you two hooked up, right?

2004? 2019 ought to hurt them more. That was such a slaughter, fortunately for them we took our foot off the gas.

“I'll NEVER forget those inbreds
taking over Bourbon St. after the game.
You haven't lived until a chain-smoking 12-year-old
LSU "fan" cusses your mom out in the French Quarter.
Then like clockwork they all left at 11:45 pm for Baton Rouge. (condition of probation I guess?)”

I said when they joined the conference that OU fan fagginess would make people not hate Texas fans quite as muc

I’m telling you man, living in DFW there a lot of OU people because the OK job market sucks. My Texas friends are pretty level headed and said all year Arch and the team didn’t deserve all this praise and they were overrated.

Meanwhile my OU friends think Venables is a top 5 coach and Mateer is a god. All they say is if he hadn’t gotten hurt they’d be undefeated and 1/2 right now.

My BIL went to OU and invited me to the Mizzou game last week. It was fun(because it was free), but good god their fans are insufferable Every single play the fans were yelling obscenities and bitched about everything the refs did. Every offensive struggle was the refs not calling PI or defensive holding, etc

And then you get to hear Boomer Sooner played 200x a game. I’m praying for everyone going up there.

Lastly, report back on the people watching in Norman. Let’s just say half the fan base is coming in from rural counties

I don’t believe any grown men called a 13 year old kid that. Nor do I believe an LSU fan slashed those tires.
Kid grew up to be a lying Okie.

OU fans we met at 2019 semis in Atlanta were very humble and nice. It was a different scenario though, they knew what was about to happen.

I was at that game as a child. Before the game, I tigerbaited one of them. A group of OU fans circled my family. They raped my mother and slit my father’s throat. I was placed in foster care. OU has horrible fans.

It’s New Orleans. There doesn’t have to be an LSU game to get your tires slashed. Could have been us, but not the best assumption.

I remember the sports media talking up that OU team all year with ESPN describing them as "The Team of the Century." The fans believed their own hype and were shocked when little ole LSU beat their team.

OU fan here, not sure if I’m allowed to post. I was 11 when that NCG took place and didn’t go to the game, so I have no idea how true the twitter story is.

I will say that literally every single person from Oklahoma City that my family knew that went to the game all came back saying it was the worst experience they have ever had with an opposing fanbase.

No stories like that from 2019 (what a beatdown) or last year, so I think it was just a combo of it being in New Orleans and the first time LSU had won a title in 50 years.

I've always looked at Oklahoma as kind've a trailer park version of Texas. Like Texas, but with tornadoes and meth.

Everyone should visit a rural Indian casino in Oklahoma in their lifetime. Best people watching you’ll ever see

Living in Norman for almost my entire life I have had to listen to every OU fan that went to that game give similar stories. Some from people who you absolutely believe. None of those fans would dare make the trip with me to BR last year when OU was in town because of their experience that day. None of those fans that I know or am related to have ever been to a game in BR. I ask them every year to make a trip with me on my dime because it is truly different than what they think. Last year I asked a bunch OU fans around me in the stadium what they thought. They all had a blast saying they were fed, got drunk free, and made friends. I will be in Norman this weekend in purple and gold in miserable weather watching and probably taking my arse whipping that is coming. Wonder how the OU fan base will be and wish LSU fans would show up in numbers like normal.

It was crazy the hype they got coming into that game considering Kansas State beat the doors off them in Big 12 title game

Pretty much everyone was. Jason White was a Heisman winner and had Mark Clayton (1,425/15 TDs). And LSU demolished them. 13/37....102 yards....and 2 Ints for White, and 4 catches for 32 yards for Clayton. I mean, our D made them look like rank amateurs. It was the beginning of the age of SEC dominance.

Still remember media saying the 03 Sooners were better than many professional teams. Oops
