Jefferson had 8 catches for over 100 yards and a TD

This was my point to UGA fans before that game.

In our base 3WR, 1TE and 1RB look, there are no weaknesses. All 5 possible pass catchers are playmakers. That’s a big reason we are so good.

The talent level of everyone rose at the same time and then we added Brady make them work together. This offense is more than the Joes. They didn’t get it.

I rightly predicted Jefferson to have a big game yesterday. You just can't cover everyone on this team.

We really should have broken fifty save for a couple of plays we didn't finish. And that was against a really, really good defense.

I don't think we will see a better defense than UGA. They were tough in the middle. They have crazy stat like not giving up a rushing touchdown all year. Our run will open the passing game
The measure of a good D against our offense specifically is contested catches and/or space the WRs have.

Anyone can blitz 6 against 5 and get pressure.
Anyone can put 8 or 9 to slow down the run game.

But can they cover everyone. If they get pressure, they still have to cover but for less time.

If the front 4+ 1 LB are shutting down the run, are they covering even with the help on backside.

UGA didn't give a lot of room. UGA also shut down our run (sans Burrow improvising). UGA also contested catches; WRs had to work for over half of them. So going by that, that was indeed the best defense we've faced so far with a slight lead over AU.

No, our natty hope starts with the Heisman Joe Burreaux. He's the leader and the missing link that's we did not have in the past years teams.

Georgia is just "good" in the middle, they keep their gaps as coached. Where they shine better than others is speed and recovery. Also sure tacklers.

The Big 12 is all about what LSU now does better than they do.
Plus you are grittier on both sides of the ball up front.

Might have to outscore them before wearing them down but you drew the best semi to prepare you for either OSU or Clemson.

Probably should pull for OSU being as they aren't as battle tested in these games for the nut as Clemson. Either way enjoy the next one and congrats on winning the conference championship.

Fairly certain it all lies on Burrow’s shoulders

OU can’t double everyone. Too many weapons, plus their run defense is nothing like Georgia. Clyde will eat them up if they sell out on the pass.

Because teams are going to be playing Jefferson and chase just like Georgia did. This means single coverage against the oppositions 3rd best cb. I see 4 more TD’s coming for Mr. Marshall before it’s all said and done

I saw where Chase was actually battling the flu or a stomach virus yesterday and that’s one reason he was slowed a bit. No one else has been able to cover him consistently.
