A list of all the SEC teams McMahon has yet to beat since he's been the coach.

According to ESPN Analytics, LSU will be favored in home games vs Missouri, Texas A&M, Miss St and OU.

You ain't got no problem, Jules. I'm on the motherfricker. Go back in there, chill them out and wait for the General who should be coming directly.

I thin he's a great basketball coach...for a mid-major. And he is a very nice guy but the Murray State's and Butler's of the world need coaches too.

It's time to move on.

I don't know if that is necessarily true any longer. The way rosters are built has totally changed. It's affected every program. The model for mid-majors used to be getting in second-tier prospects, the developing them, together, as a team, in order to continuously produced experienced lineups with a few good underclassmen mixed in.

Now, the good mid major players aren't sticking around long enough to develop into experienced vets. They are leaving for a bigger conf. school and bigger payday at the first chance they get. That means even mid-major HC's have to be able to significantly flip the roster each year and win immediately with a largely new team. McMahon hasn't been able to do that LSU.

Steve Prohm was at Murray St. before McMahon. He had an even better record than McMahon there which got him the Iowa St job. After doing ok at Iowa St in his first 4 years (3 NCAAT appearances) the program bombed in 2020 and 2021. Murray St rehired him when McMahon left. In 3 years he only had one winning season and was fired after last season. The basketball climate had changed since he left Murray

I don’t think you are going to find anybody on here trying to convince as to why McFraud isn’t a bad coach.

He's not a bad coach. He's just a victory-challenged coach.

Honestly I really thought Trent Johnson was a really good coach, and that it was a home run hire. And he delivered Season 1-- 27-8, conference champions, second round loss to eventual tourney winner NC Tarheels. But he proved to be a one-hit wonder at LSU, and couldn't repeat the successes at Nevada and Stanford. And he later was an abject failure at TCU -- worse than even McMahon here.
