1. They have 55 more people now than 20 years ago. So that first statement is a lie. 4. You are getting older so you are becoming deaf. 6. Is correct but that is from athletics.
You’re probably right hence why I said only kinda don’t like them. I really think that outside of a football game I just don’t like band music. And maybe I am going deaf. I can’t hear shite anymore. So go band. Yay.
I heard “Set it Off” though. Loud and clear. lol

Tiger Band's membership is capped at 325 students, which is stupid. That number includes the Golden Girls and the color guard, so that means there are only about 285 or so actual musicians. Most other SEC schools have marching bands that vary in size from 350 to over 400 members. There are also fewer brass instruments now than there were under Frank, Linda, or even Roy. Less brass equals a weaker sound. All you have to do is watch YouTube videos of Tiger Band from the past. You can tell the difference in the power and clarity of their sound.
That said, it's a travesty that the stadium "DJ" or whatever the hell he is called is allowed to play that crap music over the band. In the past I've had visiting fans from other schools tell me that our band is the best at engaging the crowd. Not so much anymore, and it's not their fault. They are literally told when they can play and when they have to stop.

I just wish it wasn’t 80% Rap. But the kids love it.

Clemson had the same thing, South Carolina last year, etc. Afraid it's a thing now.

Glad you posted that list twice so I could downvote it twice.

Yeah I upvoted and downvoted it. Made it equal. I don’t know why it posted twice.
Cheers
