they booed lee just the same in 08
I didn't support this either. But Lee was booed for his inconsistency in throwing INT's for touchdowns, and it did not occur until after the Alabama game. This was on Jefferson's first snap of the 2011 season. Not the same thing.

It's Twitter. They only have so many characters per tweet. It still looks bad though

The players actually know what happened at the bar
That's one thing that seperates the typical ranter who mouths off without the facts
That is totally irrelevant. Jefferson coulda stabbed 3 people and stomped 10 others and most of the players would have still supported him 110%. Support from other players does not indicate guilt or innocence.
I would never boo an LSU player on the field. The thought would never even cross my mind, but at the same time, while I don't agree with the action, I understand the source. Jefferson's actions have been a huge black eye for LSU in the media, and two days after he's indicted by a grand jury and returned to the team, he's rewarded by being handed a TD on his first play back.

Disappointed at our fans..we are a family and jj9 is part of it but yall wouldn't understand that

Wow.
JJ got booed for these reasons:
1.) He is less than average for 2 years
2.) He is hyped all offseason and then a week before the season against #3 Oregon he gets into shite potentially screwing LSU for the season
3.) By a miracle Lee takes over and plays better than any LSU qb has played in the last 3 years.
4.) JJ gets reinstated and the wheels are immediately put in motion for him to take over.
It's not rocket science. The fans want a winner. Lee is winning right now and we don't want to frick it up.
I was not at the game so I didn't boo but I did say "here we fricking go" sarcastically when Less put him in. That is what the booing was about.
Not race
Everytime you try to justify booing a player on a team you supposedly support, you show your ignorance.

agree with the players.

It wasn't a reward. The situation called for a goal line QB sneak. When was the last time you saw Lee successfully sneak for a TD? Football is a percentages game, and we have all seen Jefferson make that play when it counts. Les simply made the correct play call based on historical data and his personnel.

Thanks fan monitor. I wasn't trying to "justify" the booing. Just trying to explain that it wasn't about race.

Doink, your a genius.
I'm not worthy of your presence. You still don't get what I'm saying.
Point being: Starting SR QB on a potential NC team gets into a bar fight after sneaking out.
End of story.
He does not deserve to play a down knowing what he did and his position on the team. If he doesn't realize what he jeopardized; then, he really doesn't deserve another shot.

For real.
Embarrassing to think they are academically eligible with the way they sound on twitter.
I'm no grammar nazi and spell in slang on social media, but dang. It's like they are intentionally speaking like uneducated functioning retards

I just got home from the game and I thought it was disgusting when he was booed. I 100% agree with all the players who have been tweeting how upset they are. If any of you dumb fricks who booed are reading this, GO frick YOURSELF YOU arse WIPE!

Being such an advocate of fans being obliged to give up their time to watch LSU's athletes, I take it you were at the LSU volleyball game last night?

I can see both sides. The players need to realize that is part of sports.
Wasnt the first time, wont be the last time.
The timing was bad. The fans don't boo if Les Miles runs Jefferson out in a normal situation within the game. Not on the 1 yard line after Lee had just led a drive all the way down the field. It was more timing than anything, whether you want to attempt to discredit that or not.

I guess Alleva and Miles are wrong. Their wisdom and experience is nothing compared to yours. Maybe, just maybe they know a little bit more than we all know.

And more that it brought back memories of the bullshite that happened last year with JL leading the team down inside the 3 and handing JJ TDs.
Again, the booing was stupid and wrong, but some LSU fans just don't like seeing the same shite coming back when the team has shown to perform so well so far this season. Booing is never justified though.
