5th

Him Klubnik and Allar just absolutely tanked their draft stock this season. Don’t think I’ve ever seen the top 3 ranked QBs coming into a season go into a tailspin like that. Allar was always dog shite though

Someone will “take a flyer” on him in round 5.

If we're talking #18, I don't think he gets drafted. If we're talking #13, rd 2 or 3.

he'll get a look strictly because of nepotism, that and the fact that that there just isn't a whole lot of qb talent out there(and Nuss contributes to that pool,) hell Indy called a 45 year qb out of the AARP enlistment line to come and start for them

Hopefully a team will sign him to "practice squad".

100% depends on his arm going completely healed before combine and pro day

If he ranked 4. He might go 1st round. 3rd at the latest.

Flag football is in his future

Dude is a headcase. I can see Nuss fitting in well with an organization like the Browns. They are perfect for one another.

A lot of assholes and wannabe comedians in this thread. Sad. Y'all need to try harder.

2nd round

4th QB taken. Garrett Nussmeier, LSU Tigers
Nussmeier is the son of a former NFL quarterback, and it shows. He plays with confidence rooted in sound fundamentals, an understanding of defensive windows and solid zip on his throws. He's a gunslinger, and with that comes the good and the bad. His smaller frame may be a limitation, but it's hard not to want to give him a chance to lead an offense.

Garrett Nussmeier (Senior @ LSU). 6’1”, 205 lbs, 4.82 40YD. 24 y
Arguably the best pure passer, especially on deep balls. While he has a strong arm, he’s relatively shorter, lighter, older, and appears slower, but has been clocked as faster than Allar, Beck, Mendoza, Moore, and Simpson.

Nussmeier: DRAFT PROJECTION: 2nd - Early
Overall Rank: #39 Position rank: #4 (QB)
Scouting Report: Strengths
* Natural arm talent jumps off the tape - consistently generates velocity without straining
* Shows impressive touch layering passes between defenders - during the '24 Ole Miss game, especially on the game-tying drive
* Creates throwing lanes under pressure
* Displays toughness and grit
* Shows flashes of anticipatory throwing - hit several tight windows by releasing before breaks

If he is healthy for Combine and has a strong Pro Day, I can see a team taking him in the 3rd round. This year he was injured and probably should not have played. Last year he can show what he can do when healthy. I think a team would take a shot on him at being a back up QB. He has the size and arm strength NFL teams covet.

I'd honestly think he goes 4th rd, maybe pretty early in it. Ton of physical potential when you look at his films prior to this season.
If his falloff is due to an injury, he's a no-brainer to take a shot on later in the draft, especially if you have an older or not particularly great QB currently.

He will fall to at least 5th round. Mechanics specifically footwork are not good.
when you add how slow he is, it's easy to see that the 5th round is likely his celiing, after the year he had, where he fricking fell off a cliff
