16-14

We lost 2 studs to the MLB draft that's alot of innings they ate up and alot to replace. Some guys are going to have to step up. The talent is there but can they perform in SEC play.

Hate to inform you, but they may even have a weaker schedule this year lol. No Ark, LSU, FLA, UGA or Kentucky this year...

19-11 is a top 8 seed? I don’t think that’s accurate. MSU, Auburn, Texas, Georgia, and Arkansas look to be the teams to beat this year in the SEC. Those are your 20+ win conference teams.

You believe 5 total teams get to 20 wins? What? Lol

We got swept by Auburn last year in case you forgot. You would've said the same about that series this time last year too

What’s your point?

My point is you can't just say "oh we won't lose a series to xyz"

You're going to lose some that you'd expect to win and wine some you expect to lose.

The poster I responded to said we wouldn't drop a series to Vandy or Georgia, when in reality it's possible to drop any series along the way (except if you play SC or Mizzou)

Idk why you responded to that though. Unless your tigerbait2008's alter and you just outed yourself

You think 5 teams could reach 20
Wins?? You don’t math well do you. 19 wins would get us 3rd or 4th place likely and pretty much a lock to be a national seed.

It’s gonna be fun to see this run out, I’m surprised some of you have Georgia being as tough as you do. I personally think Tenner is gonna come down to earth pretty good, and MSU is overrated. Flip those to 2-1’s and we’re sitting at 22-8

Hearing lots of 20+ win predictions and I just feel like that's an insane expectation considering neither of the 23 or 25 teams could break 20 conference wins.

Every season is different. We’re not playing the ‘23 or ‘25 SEC teams. We’re playing the ‘26 ones. And our pitching staff was more top heavy in those seasons, but I don’t remember a staff at LSU being this deep with guys with “stuff.” Hunt mentioned we have 11 guys that throw 95+. The bullpen is deep as frick. Lots of guys who can get high leverage outs.

There’s more than 1 way to skin a cat. The ‘23 and ‘25 teams were completely different. Both won the CWS. This ‘26 team is different that those 2. But should be good enough to at least make a run. Don’t really care what our SEC record is as long as it’s good enough to get a national seed.

18-19 wins. It would be awesome if we won 20. We will lose a couple series, I just hope we don’t get swept. (Auburn nightmare from last year)
I hope that we can find a way to sweep A&M though. I really hate those faggies!
