No problem. Woody just needs to find us another super young head coach, has all his best year ahead of him, and guarantees us a single-seed tourney bid every single season. Shouldn't be too difficult, right?

Correct me if I'm wrong but Auburn has not been punished yet. They self imposed a postseason ban 2 years ago when their team was arse like we did in football.

I don't think it would make a difference with the NCAA. I think they see an opening to punishing LSU and using Wade as the reason. Now with NIL giving money you would think it would wipe out the accusation, but the NCAA is on that mission, and they left the best(penalties for LSU) for last.

Oh, and screw the NCAA. Hell, they may not even survive long enough to enforce any sanctions. If not for the MBB Tourney, they would likely be done already.

What great hires? Jimbo doesn't look so great. Buzz doesn't look so great. The jury is out on Johnson and Kelly. Mulkey is probably a great hire but how hard was yo hire someone that grew up less than an hour away from Baton Rouge.
Woodward may be a great AD but a lot of that will depend on how good Kelly and Johnson do at LSU.

Not sure though, nobody’s really taking big hits in major conferences anymore because of the TV money. Louisville for that catastrophe got a slap on the wrist, Auburn self imposed because they sucked last season, Syracuse got nothing for 13 major violations, North Carolina got nothing for massive academic fraud. The schools tend to skate these days while the individual takes the hit.

I don't think anything major happens here, but if Woody wants Wade gone this will be his reason.
