Hmm so I assume ticket prices will be retarded on the resale market

Doubt this. Between no pregame and 25% capacity I see no reason to "be there". I'd prob turn down tickets that were given to me.

It will be interesting to see what excuse the fans will have for leaving at halftime since traffic won’t be an issue. I’ve said all along that it’s not the traffic....it’s the attention span of today’s society.

My theory has long been that the proclivity of fans to bail at HT coincided with the proliferation of cell phones. More specifically, the proliferation of text messages.

Before cell phones you and your friends attending had to plan ahead. Generally that entailed meeting at a certain spot after the game. During the game you couldn't contact your friend at your whim, so if you left early (contrary to pre-arranged plans) you ran the risk of sitting outside the stadium for a long period of time waiting for your friends inside to leave. Most preferred just to stay at the game until it was time to leave.

Now, at almost any point in the game someone on the other side of the stadium can call/text to say "hey, we're leaving at HT. Do you want to go?"

Couple that with the fact that EVERY game is on TV now, and one doesn't have to be in the stadium to see the action.

Every season ticket holder account who did not opt out will get at least 2 season tickets. Some account holders may get 4 as capacity allows.

According to Louisiana's Phase 2 guidelines, LSU could have up to 50% capacity if socially distanced. That would be 51,115. My prediction is LSU allows 40K which is more than any other SEC school so far.

which is great considering that 75% of season ticket holders opted out this year.

I think it will be 25% to start the season. And go up possibly later in the season. The problem is sitting at the top of the upper deck looking at all those empty seats down low! Good luck stopping fans from sliding down

Dude, what planet are you living on?

Louisiana's "Phase 2" has had a restriction on outdoor gatherings of 50-100 people since June.

The issue isn't just the seating -- it's the aisles, the walkways, the concession lines, the bathrooms, etc.

I'd assume no more than 25% at the start of the season.

But you are missing the point....... do you realize how many parties on the water this weekend?????? People are NOT gonna give a crap at what he says unless he opens up bars and let TS have 50,000 fans for the home opener.... this IS HIS chance to be a real leader and just go for it......
