Nope, kidding around. Rivers is a monster and Les really likes him. In fact he said Mett was in his doghouse and raved about Rivers recently. It's far from a foregone conclusion that Mett will even start next year. Rivers really seems to be doing a great job so far.

I don't think Brees motion is really too weird. It definitely isn't side are he would be hitting linemen and back at that level.

No, you just don't pick up on sarcasm. Miles is one of the top coaches in the nation, look at his record. He's a bit eccentric, but he wins and is always entertaining. JJ was thrust into a bad situation. He really stepped up his sophomore year then regressed as a junior. I look for him to have a great senior season. I think he'll be 2nd team All SEC, only behind Murray.

I thought that part would make it obvious. Miles doesn't prefer a runner to a pocket passer. He replaced Lee with JJ because of Lee's propensity to turn the ball over. Once he made that choice, he stuck with it. Ride or die...
ETA: If Miles really did prefer a runner to a pocket passer he would not have recruited Mett and Rivers in the first place.

BTW, I started a thread last week saying JJ looked really good in 3 games that I watched on CBS College Sports. I was positive and said he would lead LSU this year to a great season. It had 4 replies.

I think people just prefer shite over positives. It's proven on here every day. I'm being 100% honest when I say I think JJ will have a great year and most of the time I'm just stirring the pot on here. It's the offseason. I'm ready for football so we can get back to intelligent discussions on the MSB.

And thats why the rant pisses me off so much. Mostly everything is negative or ppl jumping to conclusions about something they know nothing about (i.e. the Rosetta shepard thread)

I'm on board with you as far as JJ is concerned. Krags and a new confidence will go a long way to helping JJ have a better season. Here's to hoping for the best!

I think he just prefers who is best. Flynn was never a true running quarterback, and Miles also benched a 5th year senior, marcus randall who was a running quarterback, for a redshirt freshman pocket quarterback in jamarcus russell
