Our last game is on the 19th...if we get in a schitty bowl, it will be played by 12/29 or so. What’s that get us...an extra week of practice with Christmas sandwiched in the middle. We’ll get an extra 4-5 practices at most. We should accept it if we get an invite, but this team ain’t fixing its problems during bowl week. JMO

The NCAA doesn't give a frick if we self bowl ban in a year where we would be lucky to play in the Indy Bowl.

I agree with this guy

Not that I think we should turn down an invite, but for all the people saying we need the extra practice... How many more practices do you think we'll get in? Our last game is likely on 12/19. At the latest, the bowl game would probably be 1/2. That's like 2 weeks with Christmas right in the middle.

They have no choice but except it, unless we have a virus outbreak. Conference rules require you accept bowl invite due to bowl money being pooled and split between league.

We will only get about 3-4 practices for any bowl we'd get invited to. That's not a valid reason to accept a bowl if one invites us. And I am not sure we'll get an invite anywhere if we finish 3-7.

You’re an idiot. They’ve given out one death penalty to only one program. And that was SMU. Either you don’t know what the death penalty is or you’re horribly misinformed.

We need and should want all the practice time we can get.

Wrong, hotshot.

The NCAA has handed out the Death Penalty at least five times that I recall.

And USL says "hello" to one of those back in the 70s.

Late season due to C-19. Last game is schedule for 12/12 and the Ole Miss game might be 12/19. Makes a bowl game practice almost a non issue.

LSU should opt-out of any Bowl dumb enough to send them an invite

I have said repeatedly that LSu is leaning towards a self imposed bowl ban. They are expecting a harsh ruling from NCAA.
